"There's a baby?"
I nodded while Elliot held Arlo in his arms.
"Yep! Right here!"
I pointed at my stomach.
"How there a baby in there?"
I laughed and put my arms out for him. He gladly came to me out of Elliot's arms.
"Well your baby brother or sister is really~ small right now. Soon dad will have a BIG tummy and then you will meet them!"
Arlo looked at me with wide eyes.
"Might be a bit too much for a 2 year old to understand."
I found out I was pregnant about a week ago. It was fun to tell Elliot this time compared to when I told him about Arlo.
I got Arlo dressed for the day in a shirt that said best big brother. Elliot being the idiot that he is didn't realize all day until Arlo spilled his juice on the shirt. I asked him to change him and that's when he FINALY realized what it said. I'm not kidding when I say I had never seen a 35 year old man jump around like that. He kissed me then Arlo then my stomach and started screaming about I'm not even sure what. It was quite comical to me but kind of scared Arlo.

"Shut the fuck up."
"Elliot!"
I hissed at him and slapped him on the arm.
"I'm sorry about him."
The doctor laughed wiping off the gel from my stomach.
"It's totally fine! That's a very common reaction."
I fixed my shirt and sat up slightly.
"Here you are!"
The doctor handed us the small ultrasound pictures.
"They are labeled so you can see the both of them."
I stared down at the picture looking between the "A" and "B" marks.
"Now, I would like to inform you of the possibility that one of them might absorb the other if they are enough weaker."
"So there's a possibility that there might only be one in the end?"
The doctor nodded.
"Don't be alarmed by this I just wanted to warn you about possible outcomes. If you have no other question you are all set to go!"
Elliot helped me up from the exam table and out of the room.
"Twins...there's really two in there?"
"You sound like Arlo."
I smacked Elliot again on the arm.
"Shut up! Imagine how huge I'll be! I was like a cow with just 1 baby! How can I do 2?!"
"Dex, it'll be ok! I'll help you though it all you don't have to worry about a thing."
I nodded and swallowed hard. I know he would. I know he would help me. He's an amazing dad to Arlo and an even more amazing husband. I really did get lucky with this big idiot. I took ahold of his arm and leaned against him slightly as we walked out of the hospital.

I'm happy. Im really truly happy. Happier than I ever have been. I have a family and soon to be career. I graduate soon with a cosmetology degree and Elliot is going to help me start my own business. 3 years ago I was working at a job I hated with my best friend. Now I'm living a life I never would have dreamed of but now I couldn't even begin to think about not having. I have gained not only friends but my family back. My dad actually got the balls to divorce my mother and now we are all actually a very happy family. My life didn't go at all like I had planned but I wouldn't change it for anything.
