"NOOO!"
My hand flew to his face trying my best to cover his eyes.
"You can't see me! Get out!"
"Do you really believe in those superstitions?"
I huffed.
"Maybe! Get the fuck out!"
I gave him a hard push out of the door and slammed it hard. AGH! I could just hit him!
I took a deep breath and turned to look at my yin the full length mirror. I lightly touched the tips of my hair making sure it was just how I wanted it. Cate had helped me part it and style it so it looked nicer.
I'm more of a "throw it back and call it good" kinda guy. I have been told it cut it because I do nothing with it but I like my longer hair.
I made sure the flowers clipped into my suit were completely attached and smoothed my hands over the few wrinkles of my suit jacket. I took a deep breath I'm getting married today...
KNOCK
KNOCK
"ELLIOT! You can not come in!"
The door opened slightly and I heard Tyler's voice come from the other side.
"It's me!"
"Oh...come in then."
He came all the way into the room with Arlo being held in his arms.
"Look at you!"
I held my arms out. Tyler handed him over to me and I planted kissed all over his face.
"You look so adorable!"
His pale purple suit matched Elliot and I's. It matched mine more since Elliot said he wouldn't wear a purple suit like the loser he is. But he did wear a purple vest and tie so we matched.
My bridesmaids which consisted of Cate as my maid of honor and Lakes all wore white with purple accents. Then Elliot's...there was quite the mess over his. His being his brothers. He had such a hard time choosing a best man that in the end he didn't even have one.
In the end the brothers who both wore white as well with purple had decided to both be the best man. They made the decision on their own after 3 hours of fighting at our house. Elliot and I eventually just walked away and went to sleep.
"Are you ready?"
I looked at Tyler who had just asked me the biggest question in my life. I'm 22 have a 7 month old baby and am getting married to the biggest idiot out there.
I slowly nodded my head.
"I'm ready."
Tyler took Arlo back and put his other elbow out for me to hold onto.
"Alright then! Let's get you married!"
I smiled at him. Tyler was walking me down the aisle since neither my father or mother came. They both refused but my siblings did come which was nice.
We walked out of the building which was also doubling as our reception hall and onto the brick walkway. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. It was surrounded my trees and had brick paths flowing through it all.
We met Cate right before the entrance and handed Arlo off to her. Both her and Lakes walked down the aisle as the music started. Elliot's brothers soon followed and I saw a glimpse of Elliot standing at the end of the aisle. His ears were red and he held his hands clasped together tightly. He's nervous. I laughed slightly at his heavy breathing that I could see from here.
We began to walk through the huge wooden arches that lined the venue.
The music was beautiful and I even saw my brother, Bo, wipe a tear from his cheek. All my nieces came along with Olivia, Locklins wife, and Bo's wife.
I watched them all as I walked down the aisle with a death grip on Tyler. Now I was getting nervous. I turned my attention to where Elliot's family sat and sat his grandparents his nieces and nephews and his brothers partners.
I was so scared that nobody was going to show up. I know that's kind of a stupid fear because I could have been okay with getting marred with just Elliot and I but having other people here makes it feel more real. It's makes it feel that I have more people in my life who love and care about me.
Elliot and I's relationship has been far from perfect. The only reason we found each other was because of our little 7 month old boy. We haven't even known each other that long either. It's only been about a year and a half. I cannot believe that in a year and a half I would have a kid and be getting married.
Finally I looked up at Elliot. He had one of his huge goofy grins on his face that I adore so much. Yes, I love this man. I really do truly love him.
I took the final couple steps up to him and Tyler found his place in an open seat.
"Hello all who have joined us today for the wedding of Dexlynn Montgomery and Elliot Buecanon. First let's start with the couples vows."
The officiant motioned for Elliot to begin speaking.
"Dex, my beautiful Dex. Our relationship has never been easy. I never expected for my one night stand to come knocking at my door telling me he's pregnant. And let me say I acted terribly. At first I didn't want to be a dad. I was going to just let my parents choose a bride for me considering I'm 33 now, but when you told me you were pregnant with our son my world stopped. I was going to tell you I would pay you child support and not have a relationship with either of you which I know is absolutely horrible to tell you this in our wedding day but anyway that was my plan. But you wrecked that plan. Talking to you for those few minutes made me realize that maybe I wanted to try. Then I did. I tried just a little. Then some more. Then I fucked up. But you forgave me. I got to know this person I had no intention of knowing. You turned my entire life upside down. And I owe you everything for that. You, are the reason I am who I am today and not stuck in a life I hate. I love you Dex. And im so glad that I accidentally got you pregnant."
A few laughed at the last part but I was full on crying. If im being honest his vows were kinda all over the place but he is too. The officiant motioned for me to start.
"Sorry! Im all gross now from crying."
A few more chuckles from our families.
"Elliot. Probably that biggest idiot that I know. The one who has made me cry, laugh, smile, and so angry that I wanted to smack you upside the head. Like you said, our relationship has been anything but perfect but I wouldn't have it any other way. Before I met you I had my entire life planned out. When I was going to work, where I was going to school, even down to what I ate everyday. I had always liked to have things planned but you came through and wrecked all of that. You changed my entire life. For the better. I got to see how it was like to love someone so much that it hurt. I got to see that my life doesn't have to be planned. That it's so much better to just see where life takes you. When I saw you in that bar that night I tried all I could do get out of that conversation. I remember calling you an asshat to Tyler. I never would have even began to think that in a year and a half I would be getting married to you. I never would have thought I would be living in a gorgeous home with my gorgeous son and my gorgeous almost husband. Thank you. Thank you so much for giving me this life. For making me see that life is more than a schedule."
Now it was Elliot's turn to cry. I had only seen him cry a couple times but this was different. He still had that goofy grin on his face but tears stained his cheeks and his nose ran.
"Do you, Elliot Buecanon, take Dexlynn Montgomery to be your lawfully wedded husband to love and cherish him in times of both sickness and health?"
"I do."
"And do you, Dexlynn Montgomery, take Elliot Buecanon as your lawfully wedded husband to love and cherish him in both sickness and in health.
"I do."
"And now by the power vested in me, it is my honor and delight to declare you married. Go forth and live each day to the fullest. You may seal this declaration with a kiss."
I pulled Elliot's head down and brought him into a very sweet and simple kiss.
"I am so pleased to present the newlyweds, Elliot and Dexlynn Buecanon!"
Both our family's clapped and cheered. I could hear Arlo babble happily along with the others.
Elliot and I walked hand and hand down the aisle smiling and waving.
We went back to where the reception would be held. I changed out of my suit into a more comfortable outfit. It was a darker purple so it was a bit different than the others. Elliot is used to being a suit so he kept his on but took off his suit jacket and tie.
"Ready to go, sweetheart?"
Elliot stood a couple feet in front of me with his hand extended out for me to take. I just married that man.
"Yep!"
I took his hand and I followed him. The guests had all joined in the open room. It wasn't huge considering there weren't many people there. I looked around for Arlo but I caught a glimpse of my father. He stood awkwardly in the doorway.
"I'll be right back."
I told Elliot he nodded and began talking to his brothers.
"Dad..."
He put his hands.
"I have absolutely no intention of fighting with you I promise. I just wanted to see my youngest child get married."
I crossed my arms over my chest.
"It already happened..."
"I-I know...I saw. I watched from a distance. You looked so happy I didn't want to upset you."
I nodded slowly.
"Well...thank you for that."
"Of course I mean you are my son I don't care who you get married to I just want you to be happy."
I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Sure~"
"I'm serious. It's always been your mother I was just a coward and never said anything. I would also like to see my first grandson." I watched him carefully. I think he's being genuine with what he's saying. He's never been a lair so I guess I have no reason to really say no to him.
"He's over here. Follow me."
I weaved through the groups of people talking and dancing. I found Cate who was still holding Arlo and talking to Tyler's parents.
"Dex!"
Tyler's dad, Kory, called out to me. He pulled me into a tight hug.
"How have you been! I was so excited to get and invitation! Dimwit over here didn't tell me anything!"
He motioned at a hurt looking Tyler. I laughed and that made Tyler a bit more upset.
"Well of course you guys had to come! Who was I going to dance with?!"
I directed the question to, Ray, Tyler's other dad. That made a smile grow across his face.
"Obviously me!"
Ray landed a hand on my shoulder and calmed his laugh. Oh yeah..
"Uh guys...this is my dad."
He gave a small wave to the dads. He had met Tyler and Cate once before but it has been awhile since they had seen each other. I saw Tylers eyes narrow at his mention.
"Don't worry! He's not here to make a fuss. We already talked it out. Cate? Could I see Arlo?"
She nodded and gave my dad a smile. She never liked him and I can understand why.
We walked away to a more quiet corner so I could actually hear him.
"So, this is Arlo."
There was a twinkle in my dads eyes and a very sweet smile appeared in his face.
"Hello my grandson! You are going to have a tough time with all girl cousins!"
Surprisingly Alro liked him. He let him hold him and my dad found his babbles too cute to handle. The night went amazing. Everyone had an amazing time. We danced and ate and danced some more. By the time the last people left Elliot and I were just ready to go home. Tyler and Cate insisted they took Arlo for the night. I know exactly what they were trying to do but I didn't stop them.
Clothes were strewn across the room. I swore I heard a rip as Elliot took of my clothes. My back fell against the bed of the very fancy hotel Elliot had gotten for tonight. I had no idea he booked a hotel so it was a nice surprise.
He kissed me sweetly on the lips. Then he trails down my jaw then back up nipping my ear. I left put a soft moan and sighed.
He left small pecks on my neck. He was being so sweet and caring. BITE. I was wrong! I was so wrong!
"Elliot!"
I put a hand on his chest. He snickered and smiled into my neck. He took my mouth in his again kissing me deeply.
His hands crept down lower and lower. He pushed one hands making me gasp. Then another making me let out a high pitched moan.
One more. At this point I was a mess. I had a right hold onto Elliot my nails leaving marks in his back. He slowly raised up placing a kiss on my cheek.
He positioned himself and started to go in. Once he was all in I let out a breathy moan.
"You alright?"
I smirked slightly.
"Obviously."
I flipped him over so now I was on top. I slammed my hips down over and over again. Eliot kept his hands slightly lower on my hips almost on my thighs. With one final push down I fell onto his chest my breathing labored. I could feel his chest moving up and down as well. Wow...I got married today...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
