How the Relationship Changed Him

Darry

  He's a lot happier and he's a lot more patient with Ponyboy because of you! He cracks a smile a lot more and he isn't as stressed financially because you're there to help him. Now he actually enjoys going out with his friends and playing football.

Two-Bit

  He became a little bit more serious and considerate. He's still got his funny bone, don't worry, but now he actually knows how to handle certain situations accordingly instead of turning everything into a joke. He's also stopped drinking as much. He only gets drunk on the weekends now.

Dallas

  The change was slow and gradual but he started to be kinder and more patient. He doesn't pick fights as much anymore unless he has reasoning and he's a lot more playful with strangers rather than flirty or straight up rude. Don't worry though, he's still got his kick and rebellious nature. He also grew out his hair a little bit and started to have a wider selection in wardrobe.

Steve

  Not much changed actually. The only thing that really changed was his hair and how he speaks to people. He's a lot more soft spoken with you and with his friends all because of you.

Sodapop

  He's still just as kind, considerate, and sweet. One thing changed though. Two things actually. First, he started to know his worth. He thought he was worthless because of Sandy but you changed that. After that he started to realize that it felt good to talk to you about his feelings so he started to put himself and you before others which can be good in moderation.

Johnny

  A lot changed. His confidence went up a little bit and he became warmer and more open and a little more carefree. His physical health got better too. He gained about twenty pounds after you two got together because you fed him well and made sure he had a place to sleep. Johnny isn't a confrontational person but he also doesn't let people run him over anymore.

Ponyboy

  He's not as shy or immature. He became more open to speaking with people outside of his little greaser gang but he still somewhat keeps to himself. His immaturity went away because he realized he couldn't act childish if he had a lover. Well, he's still childish I guess, but he has a different out look on life now. A much more mature one.
