This is kind of a follow up to the last chapter.

-In the book, there's a moment when Johnny and Ponyboy are trying to look tough. Ponyboy doubts that he looks tough but said Johnny was pulling it off pretty well. Johnny is not this small little puppy who has on the sweet sad eyes all the time. He can definitely look pretty scary.

-"he's a good man in a fight" -Ponyboy Curtis. He can definitely defend himself and he definitely doesn't get kicked around all the time. Johnny's a pacifist, not helpless.

-I hate how people are all like, "oh he definitely can't take pain 🥺" BRO. In the books, Pony said he saw Johnny get beat by his dad with a belt or something and he just took it. HE'S NOT PHYSICALLY SENSITIVE.

-Johnny's not an uwu virgin boy who doesn't know what sex is. He might be a virgin, but he definitely isn't as innocent as a three year old. He hangs around Dallas of all people.

-He couldn't have 100% been good, no one is a 100% good. Ponyboy said that Johnny kept his mouth shut real good around cops. That means, even when the gang did something illegal or not right, Johnny didn't speak up or out about it. Hell, he probably was an accomplice at some point.

-Johnny's not dumb, but he's definitely not book smart. In my story that I'm writing, he's in tenth. He's most likely in eighth or ninth because he failed a grade but it never goes into detail how many grades he failed. Johnny's intelligent when it comes to life advice or being street smart but he doesn't know his way around math or English all too well.

-I've read plenty of fanfics where they've described him as having abs or muscles or being tall. In the books, he's described as scrawny and runty and small. In the books he might be average height or above but he's definitely not ginormous in height or muscle mass.
