He made me believe... (READ STORY DESCRIPTION!!!)

Oh. My. God.

A/n - I know this sorry is quite past paced but I like that in stories. I hope that you do too!

Y/n POV:
After what Astrid had told me, I became very paranoid. Every time Gobber came to check on me I would feel myself jump at someone walking into my house. She said she wanted me dead. Who knows what lengths she would go to to make that happen. I couldn't tell anyone about it. They might not believe me and I didn't want to make Hiccup hate me. He was the only one I trusted. The only thing I did tell was my journal.

Hiccup POV:
I woke up in my bed a little confused. I thought I fell asleep on the couch. My dad must have carried me up here. I looked we over to my side table and saw the little box with the ribbon. It instantly made me smile. I need to thank her today.

After getting ready I decided to head over to Y/n's house. It was still a tad early but maybe she would be awake. I knocked on her door when I arrived at her house and waited.

Eventually, the door slowly opened to reveal a slightly terrified looking girl. "Are you okay?" I asked Y/n. "Oh, hey Hic." She seemed to relax after seeing it was me.

"I'm... busy." She said hesitantly. "With what?" I asked smiling widely. "Uh," she began. "Nothing, come in. Quickly." She looked around nervously as if to be making sure no one was following us and quickly ushered me inside.

"Are you sure you're okay?" I asked her, slightly concerned. "What? Oh yeah. I'm fine." She smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Thanks for the arrows" I laughed, plopping myself down on her couch. She giggled. "So will you be joining us today?" I asked her hopefully. "No, sorry." She replied, looking at the ground. "But last night you seemed like you wanted to. What changed?" I asked in confusion. "I just can't okay. Please just leave it." She looked sad but I didn't want to question her anymore so I changed the subject.

We both sat on the couch and spoke for a while. Mainly about my birthday yesterday. She seemed nervous but I didn't question her about it. After a while she asked me "Are you hungry?" "Always." I replied and she giggled. She walked over to the kitchen and opened a little cupboard. "Ughhhhh" she moaned. "I'll have to go grab my weekly rations from Gobber. Be back in a second!" She said smiling and heading out the door.

As I was waiting for her to return, I saw a little book on the table. Curious, I picked it up and opened it. It was her journal. I quickly shut it. I shouldn't snoop.

But maybe... it might have details about what happened that day in the forest. I opened it and flipped to the date of the incident. Oh. My. God.

I couldn't believe what my eyes where reading. Astrid did this?! She threatened her. She tried to kill her?! My jaw hit the floor and I felt anger bubbling up inside of me, like a cauldron about to over flow. The door to the house opened. Y/n.

"I got the-" she starred to say before noticing what I was reading. "What are you doing?!" She shouted, launching at me. I pulled away. "What the hell really happened that day in the woods? Truthfully." I asked I was so angry I couldn't even hide it. "Hiccup..." she started. "You shouldn't be reading that." "WHAT HAPPENED Y/N" I yelled at her, standing up.

Y/n POV
I stood there in shock as he yelled at me. I didn't know what to say. I felt tears start to reach the surface of my eyes. I tried to hold them back as much as possible but as soon as I started talking they began falling out. "She pushed me! Okay! Is that what you want to hear?! Until last night I thought it was an accident, until she told me that she did it on purpose! She tried to kill me! I'm scared for my life, Hiccup! Happy now?!" I shouted back. I was a mess. My voice was hoarse from crying. He began walking towards me. I instantly stepped back. He stopped.

"I'm going to talk to her." He said angrily walking out of the door. "No Hiccup!" I yelled grabbing his arm. "You'll only make it worse!" But he pushed me off and ran out of the door. Once again I collapsed to the floor.
