Y/n POV:
I woke up and immediately sat up. "SHIT!" I said doubling over in the bed at the pain in my stomach. I looked around quickly, remembering what happened with Astrid. I was in Hiccups bedroom, in Hiccups bed.

I slowly stood up and began to walk down the stairs, being careful not to hurt my stomach. As I reached the door I heard people talking outside. I pushed open the door with a lot of struggle as it hurt to move my stomach. I finally managed to push it open enough to be able to slip out and slid out of the crack.

As I stepped outside the sun light slightly hurt my eyes. I walked down the steps leading up to Hiccups house carefully and began looking for Hiccup or Gobber. As I looked over the hill down to the docks I saw Hiccup and his dad fixing one of the boats with a hammer.

Hiccup POV:
Y/n had been out of it for days now but she was stable. I had been staying with her all day, everyday and my dad had started to get worried about me. So he told me to help him fix up a boat. I hesitated at first, but eventually he managed to convince me that she would be fine and I went down to the docks to help.

"Hiccup..." I heard my dad call out to me. "Yeah?" I said calling back to him and finishing hammering in a nail. He didn't reply so I turned to look at him. He was looking up to the hill.

As I looked into the direction my dad was looking, I saw Y/n smiling at me from the top of the hill. I stood up, dropped the hammer and ran towards her.

Tears in my eyes I got to her and quickly hugged her. "You're okay!" I said in relief hugging her tightly.

Y/n POV:
"Ouch!" I said pulling back slightly and grabbing my stomach. "Sorry!" He said, stepping back. I didn't care that it hurt. I wanted to hug him. I jumped forward and wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms gently around my waist.

"Careful guys!" Gobber said from behind us, laughing slightly. "She isn't fully healed yet." "Gobber!" I said hugging him quickly. "How you feeling lassie?" He smiled at me. "I'm okay." I smiled back.

Stoick walked towards us. "Stoick..." I said worrying slightly. "I'm sorry about everything, I can't explai-"
I started before he cut me off. "You don't need to explain anything." He said smiling and placing his hand on my back "Hiccup already explained everything!" He said gesturing towards him. I relaxed as soon as I heard that.

"Stoick," Gobber said. "Maybe we should give them some time alone together? They probably have a lot to talk about." "Oh, yes!" Stoick said patting Hiccup on the back making him stumble forwards. "Knock em' dead son!" And he began to walk away. "Dadddd." Hiccup said blushing and leading me to a log at the edge of the forest.

He carefully lowered me down onto the log being extra careful not to hurt me. "I'm okay Hiccup!" I said rolling my eyes and laughing. "Let me help. milady!" He laughed and sat down next to me.

"So," I began. "How long was I out for?" "A week." Hiccup replied looking sorry for me. "Hey! I don't need your pity!" I laughed punching him gently. "Sorry!" He laughed back.

"Where's Astrid?" I asked. I had so many questions. "My dad tried to kick her off of the island but her parents refused to leave her, so they went with her." Hiccup replied. "She's gone?" I asked, confused. "Yeah, they left the day after you got- well, you know." He gestured to my stomach. "Stabbed?" I asked giving him a sarcastic smile. "Hey, you said it not me!" He laughed and I laughed back.

I felt relieved that she was gone but I would have liked to have spoken to her before she left, just to try and understand why she did what she did. But at least it was over now.

"How did the others react?" I asked. "They we're as furious as me!" He exclaimed. "They told me that you told them about everything that happened and they had barely any respect left for her anyway. They were there for me when I thought you-" His eyes began to well up.

"It's okay Hiccup! I'm okay!" I said, wiping his eyes. "I'm never going to let anything happen to you again!" He exclaimed before hugging me tightly.

When we pulled away I smiled at him. "Anything fun happen while I was out?" I asked trying to change the topic." "Not much, apart from the boat situation." He giggled. "The boat situation?" I asked with a confused look. "Yeah, the reason we were fixing the ships was because a dragon got the Hiccups. Turns out dragons plus Hiccups makes for a lot of fire!" He laughed.

"Let me get this straight, a boat broke because of the Hiccups, so they sent someone CALLED Hiccup to fix it?" I replied laughing.

"The irony right?" He said laughing back at me.

After that I had no more questions so an awkward silence fell upon us. We never got to talk about our relationship and I was wondering if he still had feelings for me.

It looked like he was about to say something when we got interrupted. "Y/N!" Snotlout yelled with Fishlegs and the twins running towards me. "Hey guys!" I said standing up and they gave me a group hug. "We've missed you!" Ruff said hugging me. "Aww, I missed you guys too!" I said smiling widely.

"Can we see?!" Tuffnut said before Snotlout stepped on his foot to shut him up. "Ow!" He said rubbing his foot. Snotlout gave him a death stare. "It's okay, Snotlout, I'm kind of curious as to what it looks like too." I replied looking at my stomach. "You haven't seen it yet?" Fishlegs asked me. "No, as soon as I woke up I came outside to see everyone." I replied.

"It doesn't look that bad..." Hiccup said smiling at me. "Yo- you've seen it...?" I stuttered. "Yeah, I helped clean it daily." He said looking at the ground. The thought of him taking care of me while I was unconscious embarrassed me and I started to blush.

"Can we see it now?" Tuff said looking intrigued. Snotlout stamped on his foot again. "WOULD YOU STOP DOING THAT!" He shouted rubbing his foot which caused us to laugh.

I looked down at my stomach and nervously began to pull up my shirt. Everyone stared at me curiously. I began to unwrap the bandage around my front. I tired to unwrap it behind my back but I couldn't reach it causing me to spin around like a cat chasing it's tail. "Come here, you." Hiccup said giggling and helped me unwrap it.

When he fully unwrapped it I watched everyone's eyes open wide. I quickly looked down to see a huge wound on my stomach. It looked like it was beginning to heal but it was still mostly open. My eyes began to well up with tears as I got flashbacks from the night at the cliff.

"That's gonna leave a GNARLY scar!" Ruff said staring intently at it. Hiccup must have noticed me becoming upset because he said, "Okay, that's enough." And began wrapping my stomach up again.

"It's okay Y/n..." said Hiccup. "Yeah, Y/n it's not even that bad!" Snotlout added. I knew they were lying but it made me happy that they were trying to make me feel better. I smiled at them and they smiled back.

"Maybe we should go get some lunch?" Fishlegs asked trying to cheer me up. "That sounds like a great idea!" I said and Hiccup helped me up. "Thanks." I said smiling at him as they helped me walk towards the great hall.
