Y/n POV:
The next morning I woke up with a huge smile on my face. I couldn't stop thinking about Hiccup. We kissed. WE. KISSED. I blushed and shoved my face into my pillow. I immediately jumped out of bed and started to get ready. I was so excited to see him, nervous, but excited.

I was smiling the whole time I was doing my hair. Usually I didn't care about the way my hair looked, but this time I was taking extra care to make sure it looked neat.

When I was ready, I ran out of the door. It was a cold day and the sun was covered by the clouds but I didn't care. As I was smiling and slightly skipping towards Hiccup's house, Stoick stopped me.

"Y/n!" He boomed. I started to get nervous. "Yes, chief?" "Please, you and Hiccup are friends. Call me Stoick." He smiled at me and patted me on the back. "Okay, Stoick." I smiled back. "Hiccup is looking for you." He began.

I started blushing again. He was looking for me. Cute.

"He's in the great hall and asked me to tell you to meet him there if I saw you." "Thank you!" I said smiling and quickly walked to the hall.

As I walked up the stairs and was about to reach the doors, someone grabbed my arm and pulled me down the side ally.

Before I had time to think they had grabbed my throat and pinned me against the wall. As I tried to push them off they pulled out a knife and held it to my stomach.

"GET OFF OF ME!" I yelled, not wanting to move too much at fear of being stabbed. "What the HELL did you tell Hiccup!" "I didn't tell him anything, Astrid!" I said through quick breaths.
"Well clearly you said something because he told me to leave you and him alone!" She shoved the knife slightly against my stomach and I tensed my whole body. "He read my journal! I didn't tell him anything."

"If I killed you, Hiccup would know it was me and then there would be no chance of us getting back together, if not I would kill you, right here. Right now." I started to panic and think back to me and Hiccup's kiss.

I didn't say anything. I just stood there. In shock. "Aw, have nothing to say now do you pretty girl?" She tormented me. "I don't care if me and him aren't together. Stay away from him. This is the last time I will tell you. If you don't? I will kill you. I don't care what Hiccup thinks." "You can't threaten me Astrid." I replied. "Kill me if you want, I won't be staying away from Hiccup."

"Oh yes you will." She said with a slightly psychotic smile. "You will stay away from him. If he tries to come near you, you will tell him to stay away from you and that you don't want to be around him anymore. You may not have much value to your own life but what about Hiccup's?" She asked me still smiling. "Don't you dare fucking touch him!" I yelled. "Oh I will. If I see you two together again, I will sneak up behind him and stab him in the back, and I will enjoy every. Minute. Of it."

"No! Please!" I started to cry. "Please don't hurt him! I'll stay away from him! Just please!" She let go of my throat and I fell back against the wall. "Good girl." She smiled before walking away. "You have been warned."

When I was sure that she was gone I stood up off of the floor and began running back to my house with tears streaming down my face.

"Y/n!" A call came from behind me. "Heyyyy," Hiccup said blushing. I froze on the spot. "Y/n?" He said noticing I wasn't replying. I turned around to face him. "Oh my god! Are you okay?!" He said running towards me concerned, seeing my tears.

I needed to protect him. I wouldn't put his life at risk because of me. "Go away Hiccup." I said. "What? I'm here. You can talk to me. You don't have to hide your feelings anymore. I'm here for you." His words made tears start pouring down my face again. "GO AWAY!" I yelled back. "We can't be friends anymore... stay away from me." I stared at the floor.

"Wha- If this is about yesterday, I'm sorry. Maybe kissing you was a stupid idea but I really like you!" "WELL I DON'T LIKE YOU!" I yelled back. I hated this so much but I refused to put him in danger. "Never come near me again." I saw tears start to well up in his eyes. "Y/n... please... we don't have to be together. I'm not around you just so we can get together! We can pretend yesterday never happened. I just don't want to loose you as a friend." He replied. He was breaking my heart. I didn't know what to do anymore. I didn't want to hurt him but if I didn't then Astrid would.

"No Hiccup. Stay away." I looked at the floor and felt a tear fall down my face again. He looked at the floor with tears rolling down his face. I was about to run away when something happened that made both me and Hiccup's head turn.

"WHAT IN THOR'S NAME IS GOING ON!" Stoick yelled. Me and Hiccup made eye contact before running towards where the shout came from. As we rounded the corner, I was in shock.

Many houses were on fire. Including mine. "STOICK, WHAT HAPPENED!" I yelled as the heat from the fire started to heat up my skin. "DAD?!" Hiccup yelled. I saw people running back and forward with buckets trying to put out the fire. "It's happening Stoick..." Gobber said from behind me. "What's happening?" Hiccup asked with a confused look. "They're here..." Stoick replied, staring at the fire. "WHO's here?!" Me and Hiccup yelled in unison.

"Put this fire out, then everyone meet in the great hall for an emergency meeting!" Stoick yelled running towards the hall.

I stared at my house. What was I going to do now...? I felt my heart drop as I watched it burn to the ground as people attempted to put it out.

Once the fire was finally put out there was nothing left. I didn't have time to think about it though. We had to get to the great hall.
