Liz's P.O.V

I walked into the tech lab to help Jeremy checking the inventory. I never been down here before and this was the first time I was meeting Jeremy, but I had to do what the boss wanted so I could become a valuable worker. I make my way inside but see that I'm the only one here. Looking around the room, I notice all the gadgets and am amazed by everything. I always enjoyed spy movies and this was like I was living in one. I hear the door open and close behind me, causing me to jump up on surprise. I turn around and notice a guy walk over to the desk. He sits down two cups and looks up at me.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you. You must be Liz..?" He said. I nod at him, my eyes scanning him. He was very attractive. I nod my head and take a deep breath. "Uh...yeah." I bit my lip as he hands me one of the cups. I look into his eyes and watch his lips turn into a small smile.

"I'm not much of a coffee guy, so I got us hot chocolate. Hope you don't mind." He said. I look down at the cup and feel my cheeks heat up. "Yes." I said. I wanted to kick myself for being so nervous towards him. I believe he noticed my nervousness as he walks back over to his desk and sits down. He motions his hand towards the chair and I walk over and sit.

"You'll just be helping with double checking everything for me. We'll be here all day." He said, handing me a huge pile of paperwork. I look down at the pile and sigh. I hear Jeremy chuckle, causing me to stare back up at him. He gives me a warm smile. "I know it seems like a lot but I promise the day will go by fast and plus I'm pretty cool once you get to know me." He said.

He was right about the day going by fast...maybe a little too fast. We talked about ourselves and I was actually enjoying myself. Jeremy and I placed the finished paperwork down on his desk and we both stood there for a second. I was sad that the day was over. I wanted to talk to him more, but I knew I shouldn't.

"Well...all done." I said with a smile. Jeremy studied me, looking into my eyes. "Yeah...thank you for the help Liz." He said. I felt butterflies in my stomach when he said my name. I liked when he said it. He was just a great guy. I grabbed my things and headed for the door. Before I could open it, his hand slammed against it. I turn around and watched him, his body close to mine.

He hesitated for a second and then lowered his hand to the door knob. He opened the door and gave me a little smile. "I...uh...I'll see you around..?" He said. I nodded at him and patted his shoulder. "See you around Jeremy." I said. I notice his cheeks flush a light pink, causing my heart to stop for a second. I quickly made my way out of the room and down the hall. As soon as I was out of his sight, I smacked my hand onto my forehead and frowned. "What the hell am I doing? Damn it..." I said to myself.

(Y/N) P.O.V

I could tell she was nervous about talking about him, but it was going to get me some answers so I continued. "Jeremy had a conversation to me about you." I said. Liz's eyes lit up, but she still stayed on the defensive side. "Why would he talk about me to you?" She said.

"He knew we were friends and wanted to know how you felt about him. He wanted to know if he had a chance." I told her. All of this was true, he's in love with Liz. Regardless of my feelings with love at work, I was so happy when he told me. Liz shook her head in disagreement. "You're lying to me!" She snapped.

"Why would I lie about this!? Regardless of the situation, you were my best friend. Jeremy is in love with you Liz, whether he knows the truth about you or not. He fell for the girl he knows. What's going to happen when he finds out the truth?" I said. I watched as Liz's eyes glazed over. She on was the verge of tears but she took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. She walks over to me and leans down, placing her lips near my ear.

"Im begging you, do not mention him to anyone...please." Liz choked out. I turn my head and watch a tear fall down her cheek. As much as I wanted to hurt her, I also still know her as my friend, even if it was all fake to her. It was real for me. "Why?" I whispered back at her. Her eyes scan the room, making sure no one was here. "He'll kill him." She whispered.

She steps back from me and wipes her eyes with her hand free of the knife. "Yes, I infiltrated the agency and I befriended you for this whole scheme, but I was still being me. He was...is real for me. But regardless, I need to marry Daisuke." She said. I shake my head and ball my hands into fists. "Were you ever real with me!? This girl right now is not the girl he fell for." I yelled. Liz jumped by my sudden yell. He eyes glanced toward the main door of the room.

"I have to do this (y/n)...if I fail, he'll destroy everything." She said, placing the knife back into her pocket. She turns her back to me and walks towards the door, leaving me alone to my thoughts.
