I was so happy yesterday. We all bond like what we always do, we laughed and teased each other like our hobbies. I slept that night with a smile on my face, hugging my husband who kept on brushing my hair and gently caressing my belly.

Kinabukasan ay halos ayaw na kami pakawalan pa ni Papa!

"Y-you can l-live here!" My father suggested as he never leave my arms. "I-i'm not mad at Maddeon anymore, please? Hija...dito ka na ulit samin, kahit pa kasama si Maddeon. Hindi ko na siya susungitan!" He bargained.

And even though I wanted all of that we still can't... Maddeon is working, and we have a house in Cavite.

"Pa...pangako, dadalasan ko na ang pagbisita dito." Ngumiti ako sa kanya at niyakap siya.

Wala na siyang nagawa kundi ang pakawalan kami, sa gilid niya ay tatawa tawang si Mama, at sa likod naman ang nakangiwing si Trade, si Jea ay halos mapaupo na sa lapag kakatawa.

"Fine." Pagsuko ni Papa. "But! We will go there next week, kami naman ang bibisita. When is your next check up? Malalaman na ang gender hindi ba?"

"Yes pa. Sa Tuesday iyon. Pwede na sa bahay naman kayo tumuloy." Suhestyon ko.

He shook his head. "We have house Leattin, okay lang doon. At isa pa, miss na namin doon." Ako naman ang nginitian niya.

Tumango siya sa kay Mad bago ito balaan, na naman. I thought he's not mad anymore at Maddeon? I smirked.

"Maddeon Arguz. Make sure to always take care of my daughter! Sa oras na malaman kong may masamang nangyari sa kanya, hinding hindi kita mapapatawad. Understand?!" Sinamaan niya ito ng tingin.

Maddeon on the other hand calmly snaked his arms on my waist before answering.

"Yes, Sir. I will always take care of my wife." Seryosong sagot nito.

My father sighed.

"'Papa'. Call me Papa from now on." Pagkasabi niya noon ay tumalikod na siya. "John! Stalk my daughter and son-in-law's car until they arrived in their home safely." Narinig ko iyong sigaw niya sa loob.

Agad na may lumabas na tatlong nakauniporme ng pang bodyguard nila bago tumango sa amin.

I saw how relief flow in my husband's face.

"I think I am approved now, huh?" Habang nasa byahe ay turan ni Mad.

"What do you mean?" Tanong ko at ibinaba ang phone.

Nasa byahe na kami at kita ko mula sa salamin ang isang sasakyan na nakasunod sa amin. That's my father's bodyguards following us.

"Your father already acknowledge me as his son-in-law." He pointed then he smiled. "Hooh! Finally, hindi na ako mag-iisip pa kung paano makuha ang loob niya."

My heart soften.

Hinawakan ko ang kamay niyang nasa hita ko habang nagmamaneho.

Pinagsalikop ko ang kamay naming dalawa. I saw from my peripheral vision that he looked at me. He immediately look in front because he's driving.

"I know my father...you already have his approval when we got married." Nilingon ko siya, hindi siya nagsalita at tumagal ang tingin sa daan bago panandalian na sumulyap sa akin.

"How can you say that. He's so annoyed in me that I think if you left me with your father in one room siguradong bububugin niya ako." He chuckled.

"I told you I know my father well. Kung hindi siya approved siguradong tutol iyon sa kasal, remember when he didn't agree with it the very first time and he even walked out? Nung oras na yon alam kong kahit pa lahat tayo pumayag at siya hindi, siya pa din ang masusunod. Because if he thinks it's not for the good then it is." Malumanay kong saad.
