The following morning Gemma awoke with the worst headache of her siren life. Pounding against her skull. It didn't help much that she had alcohol, and adding Viserys into the mix.

The one thing Gemma thought was that someone else knew about her being a Siren. Admitting to herself-that she should try and keep it secret from Penn, Lexi, and Thea. Knowing all too well, to keep him hidden from them. Only imagining, what the three sirens were capable of.

Standing, and slowly walking. While thinking that 'clubbing' was the worst thing Lexi had ever suggested, and hated her more for evening mentioning it.

She turned on the shower head, waiting for the tap water to turn from cold to hot. She undressed, sighing as hot water touched her pale skin. Making, the lingering touch of last night lessen...

Gemma was confused. Her hunger raged for Viserys. While her heart willed for Alex... Viserys knew something more... While, Alex didn't even know her anymore. It was funny, Alex was her first crush, but one look at Viserys and Gemma completely forgets about him. Viserys compelled her in, with his muscular build, and charming attitude, but mostly Viserys compelled her inner siren.

Maybe, Viserys knew more than he previously let on...

Contemplating on what to do next; Gemma just took one step at a time.

Since, that's all she could possibly do.

Drying her hair with nothing but a towel, Gemma readily got dressed for the day.

Throwing on a white tea, and grey leggings. Throwing the dirty towel on the floor-multi-tasking, as she fiddled with her hair, and a hair tie; while walking out of the room. She met the three sirens downstairs, they looked tired...

"Ah, Gemma. I see you made it home last night. "

"Yeah, clubbing wasn't my thing. So, I went home early. " Gemma replied. Shoving her way past Penn, and grabbing stuff to make some sort of breakfast. Which, Gemma didn't even know what she was trying to make.

"Obviously. You were pretty out of it when we arrived home. " Penn explained, looking disinterested at Gemma's actions. "What are you doing?"Penn asked.

"I'm making breakfast. What does it look like I'm doing?"

"Sirens don't cook, Gemma. " Lexi explained. "What do they do then? Do they catch fish with their tail?" Gemma questioned sarcastically.

"Don't be so crude, Gemma." Penn stated. "We simply eat when the meal is prepared for us. "Penn continued. Gemma ignored the sirens, however, and continued on her own cooking.

Finally deciding on eggs for breakfast.

Gemma cleaned off the plate, and placed it within the sink.

She could also hear the complaints the sirens had that she was doing 'chores', while Thea thought it was funny.

Which, didn't sit well with Penn, and Lexi.

Gemma liked Thea more and more.

She was obviously detached from the world. Gemma thought it was because she had been turned when she was rarely young, and had experienced a lot more; Thea was her only friend among the sirens.

Gemma still thought if she had time she could consider the others close.

Close like a friend, and even family.

But her sister and father, and mother would always be in her heart, forevermore.
