Her head felt heavy.

Gemma let out an audible sigh looking up to her clock glancing at the time. Still too early to get up. To deal with Penn. Gemma knew she screwed up.

Walking away from Penn was a big no-no so she was internally preparing herself for the yelling she would receive from the siren.

Lifting her covers off from her body - standing up stretching her stiff muscles - she prepared for the day.

"Good morning Gemma!" Lexi energetically greeted.

Gemma noticed Lexi sitting on one of the high chairs that were sat in-front of the granite counter. Swaying her legs back and forth acting like a child.

"Good morning. " Gemma replied.

Walking past Penn who stood on the side of the counter, "Gemma. "

Penn's voice made her pause with her hands on the fridge door, "Penn."

"Feel like a swim?"

Gemma turned her head back not expecting that.

She raised her brow, "what?"

"You heard me. " she did.

It was kind of hard to deny Penn anything. Yet she had denied her an answer the night before.

"I'm fine thanks for the offer though."
Gemma replied in a disinterested tone opening the fridge and grabbing the an egg deciding to cook scrambled eggs. Needing that normal feeling more then ever.

However she felt a hand grab her by the neck - yanking it back making Gemma drop the eggs onto the floor hearing the multiple cracks no doubt all of them breaking and were now useless. Her hair covered her face and she felt herself breathing heavy, while Penn's face was directly in-front of hers.

"Gemma. I really do appreciate you. I love that you've accepted being a Siren. And I love how you've grown into our daily lives. But I can handle only so much of your weak, pathetic attitude. Also the next time you blow me off and let's hope you don't you will not like the course your life will take. So when I ask you if you want to go for a swim, you go for a swim. "

Penn released her vice like grip making Gemma to run the back of her neck.

Penn opened the side door that lead to the beach, "now?"

Penn lifted her brow somehow that little action made her feet go on auto pilot and comply to her orders and think just what happened to Penn to make her like this?

The water felt wonderful. Her legs now a tail of a siren. She followed after the leader of the sirens until they stopped and floated. There was no civilization for miles the only scenery they could see was the bright blue sky as the sun blazed down upon them.

"Penn. "

"What is it Gemma.  I would choose your words carefully. "

"How did you become a Siren?"
