Clubbing - Chapter Nineteen

After Lexi parked she instantly abandoned Gemma leaving her with Penn and Thea.

"She likes clubbing. " Penn chided from beside her. "I guess so. " Gemma replies back.

Thea hung back. Not interested in the least.  She would rather be at their place of home listening to music then being at this club, at this exact moment.

Gemma was kind of happy to be at the club now that she thought about it. She wanted to see Viserys again. Maybe, learn more about him and what he was.

"You look different, Gemma. " Penn admitted.

"How so?" Gemma questioned back.

"I don't know. It's a feeling I guess. " Penn sauntered off giving off her best attractive vibe to lure in the new man candy. She always had to be the seductress every where she went.

"Are you going to go in?" Gemma asked directly to Thea.

"The party scene doesn't interest me anymore. You?"

"I don't know." Gemma expressed with contemplation.

Thea bumped past Gemma, and walked off towards the bar. Leaving Gemma to assume Thea really needed a drink.

Guess that leaves just me, Gemma thought. Gemma was going to follow Thea, but an arm around her waist stopped her before she could even make a move.

"I was wondering when I would see you again. " A warm breeze slithered up her neck.

"Viserys. What a pleasant surprise. " Gemma stated.

"So you hang out with Penn and her crew?" He questioned Gemma.

"What if I do? Is that a bad thing?" She directed back.

"Even I had heard of Penn. She's been a Siren for as long as I've started doing what I do. " he admitted honestly.

"What is it that you do, exactly while we're on the subject?" Gemma asks curiously.

"That is why I'm here. I was hoping to find you once more. Guess, I thought right. "

"Why did you need me?"

Viserys looked grim at Gemma.

"Your special Gemma. "

"Special? Me? I think you got the wrong girl. "

"I think I have the right girl, as a matter of fact. "

"Clearly, you don't know me that well. And don't shy away from my question. "

"Question?"

"Why did you need me?" Gemma reiterated.

"My employer wants to arrange a meeting with you. " Viserys exclaimed.

"Your employer? Just who are you?"

"I'm..." 

"Gemma!" Penn shouts.

Gemma glances behind her to see Penn's form walking up to her.

She looks back in-front of her to see Visery gone.

"Aren't you coming in?" Penn slid her arm around Gemma's neck ushering her into the heat of the club.

"Yeah..." Gemma murmured - walking side by side with Penn and dancing her worries away.

Author's Note: I know it's short and I also know it's been a long while since I last updated. I just want to say sorry to all of whom have been waiting for the next chapter.
