Harper sighed as she sat on the plush seat of the airplane.
She hated flying- but if she could be reunited with Gemma she would face her fear. Daniel patted her shoulder-making the bottle of nerves Harper had disappear.
"What if we don't find her?"Alex voiced.
"We won't find her if you keep on second guessing our guesses. "Harper chided.
Alex's cheeks reddened. He wanted to see Gemma again- the image of when he kissed her. How that one single kiss made his life worth living- worth waking up each morning. The flight would take several hours. Daniel had closed his eyes- while Alex soon did the same. However, Harper wouldn't sleep. Not until she knew her little sister was safe and in her embrace.

.Gemma and Penn arrived back at the beach house. Lexi had been lying on top of a beach towel underneath the heated rays of the sun.
"Gemma, you made it back!! Where were you? Penn, and I were worried sick." Gemma inched her brows in question- surely Lexi and Penn were not that bothered by her little reprieve at the bottom of the ocean?
"I was taking a swim- must have lost track of time. " Lexi didn't seem to believe it- but shrugged it off.
Asking her if she could go clubbing once again with them. She would be lying to herself if she said yes-however Gemma wanted to know if Lexi, like Thea and herself- had a choice in becoming who she was.
"Sure. " Gemma replies to Lexi- Lexi jumps in anticipation at another chance to go out.
She completely forgot about Gemma and rushed towards the back to relay the good news to Thea.
"So Gemma what are you going to wear?" Penn asked.

."Lexi can I ask you a question?" Gemma had tagged along with Lexi shortly after accepting her offer to go clubbing.
It had come to a rather shocking surprise to Lexi- normally Lexi thought Gemma didn't like her- she accepted however. Penn had taken her own car and Thea had ridden with her. So it was just Thea and Gemma.
"Depends on what the question is?" Lexi responded.
As she accelerated onto the interstate, " I want to know if you had a choice in becoming what we are."
Several minutes passed, and Gemma didn't know if Lexi was going to answer- but her voice rang clear in the car's silence.
"Why do you want to know?" she asked.
"Well- Thea told me her story- how her choice was weather to live or die, her choice was death, yet her life was saved by this curse. I guess I just want to understand- to understand each of you. By doing that I can learn or try to accept this 'siren' thing as normal, I guess. "
Lexi glanced at Gemma.
"Fine. I'll tell you my story. But it's not like Thea's. And I think you will find it disappointing. Thea was near death when she was turned- where mine was my own choice. I wanted to become one of my own will. I have no soppy story- if you were suspecting a story like Thea's then I'm sorry. But- Gemma you will have to accept it one day. "
That was the last of the conversation- as Lexi had gotten off the Exit and had parked into the club's parking lot.
