Penn and Lexi had returned with thousands of shopping bags. Sawyer followed them like a dog on a leash. Smiling happily after his masters.

"Gemma, it's nice to see you up and about." Penn cheered, as she sat the shopping bag in her hand and on the counter.

Gemma couldn't really relax that much, with the water song growing, Thea had explained earlier that with swims it lessons the Water song but never fully satisfies the needs.

Gemma sighed as she pushed passed Penn through the kitchen and slid open the glass door to the beach.

"You know Gemma things would be much better if you just gave in" Penn explained simply.

In response, Gemma slammed the door and continued onward towards the beach.

Gemma thought that Penn was only like that since maybe she was alone when she had been turned into a Siren. That she had a rough upbringing and used her madness as a shield, a way of protecting herself. Gemma wanted to give the three girls a shot, but it was really kind of pointless.

We'll sort of.

With one foot in front of the other, Gemma cautiously took one step into the water. She could feel sheer joy and calmness when touching the water. Her legs weren't legs anymore but a tail.

She dived deep into the water, and had let the watersong consume her.

"Where have you've been?"

"Swimming."

"I thought you might of tried to escape."

"Escape?"

"It's pointless you know. Even if you did try, Lexi, Thea, and I would be two-steps ahead of you."

"Penn."

"Yes sweet Gemma. "

"Don't fool yourself." In response Gemma heard Penn laugh.
