A heavy breath slipped past my lips as I ignored the people around me inside of the cell. I didn't know them nor did I bother to ask them what they were in for. All I knew was that tonight was supposed to be a good night for Red and I but things went to shit.

And that was all thanks to creepy ass Carson.

The real person that was supposed to be arrested. In here.

I don't know what happened to the fucker but I know I have yet to see him otherwise, he'd be in the same place as me.

If I had to guess, I've been in here for nearly an hour without a word from anyone. Not my girl or my sister. Not Ronan or Blaze and I knew that Adrian's mind was wrapped up in Skylar's wellness at the moment.

As far as my parents, I doubt they would give a single care. They haven't this far and with all the secrets and lies, I doubt they'd come around for me.

I started wondering how all this shit would affect me as I ran my fingers through my hair, frustrated inside. It is unlikely that any scholars will stick with me if this is shown on my record.

"You!" A correctional officer, the same officer that arrested me earlier, glared at me. "Let's go." He demands and I stood to my feet.

My fingers balled together in a fist. The urge to punch the officer was high but I knew better. Besides, that definitely wouldn't look good on my record.

I don't know what was going to happen to me but whatever it was, I will gladly accept the consequences. Fighting for Red was and will always be my honor.

I love her and will do anything for her. Even if I sacrificed my career for her. She deserves nothing but the best.

Ever since she came into my life -more like forcing myself into her life- I've been a different person. Changing into someone that no longer had so much weight on their shoulders. It was easier to breathe and joke with her. To try something new. A new chapter that has just gotten started.

By the looks of all of it, it was only one way this story was going to go and that didn't involve Red in my life anymore.

Following the guard out of the cell, I held my head high not showing how much all of this was really affecting me.

He leads me to a room and orders me to sit down in the empty chair. This was an interrogation room. Reluctantly, I walked further inside and sat in the chair while he sat in the one across from me.

"I haven't introduced myself but I am Officer Meyers and with all the nonsense aside, let's get straight to the point," He mutters, tossing down papers before continuing. "From what I got from the other story, you and this other kid are fighting over a girl. The outcome leads to the other kid going to the hospital because of a broken nose and fractured jaw."

Fuck, I wish I could have done more. He deserved more than that.

"What is your story?" My lips part to speak but he says a few more words. This time they held a dark threat behind it. "Think very carefully because you are looking at time."
