Mercer Petrov.
I hated him.
His sick obsession with Genevieve was getting out of control.
He didn't deserve her. She was way out of his league and I wished she would open her eyes and see just how twisted he is.
The naive beauty didn't know who he really was. He's a sick and twisted bully that takes advantage of girls as special as her. And he did. Under the school's bleachers.
Under the fucking bleachers.
My blood boils just thinking about his lips on hers. Tainting her. Kissing her like she was his. She was not his.
She didn't belong in his arms. No one at Durant High deserved her.
No one but me.
We were two people but one person.
It was taking a bit longer for her to see that and it was driving me close to insanity. My eyes narrowed on the single pictures I had of her on the far side of my bedroom wall.
I wasn't obsessed with her.
I admire her beauty so much that I have to see it day to night. Her smile was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
Deep down, she likes me. I know that she does.
He was constantly in the way.
Me: Are you okay?
Me: You know you can talk to me, right?
Me: I'll always be your friend.I placed my phone down to the side and spun in my chair. Having a darkroom had its advantages and this was my safe space. Making sure the red lights were working properly to no expose the film, I started from there.
Reaching over to the side, I grabbed my camera. I opened it up, took out the film, and went through it until I found the pictures I was looking for. No one really uses film cameras anymore but I did. Completely different from the camera I use for school activities.
Once I decided on the photos I was going to use, I set them aside and got my tubs with the chemicals together. The fixer settled in one while the developer is another followed by a few more chemicals used in the process.
Leaving the photo paper in the tub of chemicals for it to process. After finishing the last step, I rinsed the paper off with cold water before hanging it up to air dry.
I did a few more, different photos of the beautiful angel before giving them about two hours to dry. Once I was finished and made sure everything was put back where it once was, I turned on the regular light and walked over to my work.
A satisfied smile makes its way to my lips at the sight of my work coming out perfectly without damage.
God, she was so beautiful. So beautiful that I'd do anything to have her.
Her long red locs that I desperately wanted to run my fingers through. Pink lips that looked soft to the touch. And her smooth skin. Her tattoos were a work of art and I would really like to see where else she had them.
In places that I couldn't see.
Running my finger along the photo where her face was, didn't stop the many thoughts that filled my mind. There was so much I would like to do to her that it was tantalizing to the mind. To show her.
I wanted to be the first but as long as Mercer Petrov was in the way, that would be impossible.
I had to figure out something.
To do something that will make her see that he is not worth her time. To show her that she deserves better.
I can be that better if she'd only see his true goal.
She'd be mine one day. All I had to do was be patient.
And wait for everything to fall in place.
I kissed her face. Soon, my beautiful angel. We'll have our time real soon.
