002 ~Henry Creel~ stranger things

chapter 2

1959

Lizzy Pov-
I woke up to a bright line shining through the side of the curtain in your room. As I squinted your eyes open you looked at your calendar that was hanging up on your wall. I looked at the date and saw that it had a big pink circle around it. It was my birthday. I jolted up from my bed and went over to my dresser and grabbed a nice blouse and skirt, I went over to the draw with all of my socks where and grabbed a pair that matched with my skirt and blouse, then i got my necklace that i got from Henry . After i got ready i went down stairs and looked at the couch to see Henry sitting there. I smiled and sat next to him. He looked at me and smiled.

"Happy Birthday lizzy " he said hugging me.

"Thankyou Henry" i said hugging him back.

i saw my mother come down stairs, i quickly moved down to the floor with henry while mum and dad sat on the couch. we put on our favourite show 'the Simpsons'. I looked at mum and smiled. she knew what i was gonna ask

"yes we can open your presents" she said getting up to go get the presents. I started to squirm excitedly i then felt the same feeling i got in my neck last night. it was more like a spider biting into my neck instead of it crawling on my neck, i put my hand on my neck and felt for anything. Nothing at all. I started to feel my finger tips warm up. I looked at them and they where showing a nice little purple effect. They where not losing blood or anything. It was more like magic powers. Things that come out of comic books.

I saw henry looking at my hands, he had a huge smile on his face. "shh we cant tell anyone about this" i said whispering to him. He nodded to me and then looked up to see my mum and dad holding a lot of gifts.

i held my hands under my legs until they felt colder. after a few minutes of mum bring the gifts out and me holding my hands under my legs i felt the warms leave my hands. I went to grab one of the smaller presents which was a nice pair of socks. i grabbed a few more of the smaller ones and i gave 2 to Henry to open. The 2 i gave Henry i gave to open was a new hair brush and new a new doll. I grabbed the biggest present which ended up being a new doll house. After we opened all the presents dad went upstairs to my room and started to build it.

I heard large noises coming from outside. They sounded like alarms.

"Mum? what is that noise?" i asked her looking at her worried

"they are nothing dont worry about it sweetie" she said hugging me. I knew something was wrong but i listened to my mother about it, i didnt worry just like she said.

i looked at the telly and saw that Henrys favourite show was on. "Henry! your favourite show is on!" i said smiling at him

"Ok! wait for me!" He said running from the bathroom.

we sat down next to each other on the couch watching the telly until we felt a large movement from bellow, like the floor moved. And then the the was an explosion that ruined my home.

I grabbed henrys hand as we went flying across the room screaming. On impact i felt my eyes close.

3erd person pov.

after a few ours of hiding in the remains of lizzys house. Lizzy started to wake up to her house ruined. She looked around to see her mother under a large piece the floor of the second floor. and her father on the floor with a large metal pipe through his stomach. She tried to look for Henry, She looked to the person next to her, Henry was looking out to the road that was wet from the current rain.

"Henry... where gonna die wont we?" she said trying to get up put henry pulled her down.

"No, we wont. I wont allow it" Henry said looking at Lizzy with a smile

"I need to find something" lizzy said getting up and walking over to her mothers corpse.

she looked at her hands that where purple filled with magic, She hovered he hand over the piece of floor that covered her mother, and she lifted the floor with her magic all the way over to the other side of the house. She looked at Henry and smiled, he did the same back.

Henry got up and stood next to her and looked lizzys mother and she started to move. Lizzy looked surprised at him and he looked at her with a smiled

"we both have power." he said smiling. "i think yours is better though" he said looking at lizzy with a smile.

She shook your head in disagreement "definitely not. i only got mine today, and i have no idea when you got it, but it seems you have more practice with yours" she said looking at him and then at the ground.

When you looked at the ground lizzy saw the bracelet you where going to give Henry. She crouched down and grabbed the bracelet and gave it to him.

"This is for you, for always being there for me" she said smiling at him before feeling some wrapping the arm around her neck. She used her magic to push them away before she started running.
"Henry go! Run!!" Lizzy said grabbing his hand and running with him out of the ruined house that she lived in once. She felt tears filling her eyes, so much that her vison became flooded with tears. Lizzy let go of Henrys hand and tried to wipe her eyes before she tripped and fell.

She felt someone grab her leg and pull her. Lizzy was screaming while telling Henry to go cause there was people running after him.

She looked at the person who was dragging her. It was a woman who looked alot older than her mother the woman was around 53? maybe. While she dragged her, she felt a rock hit her head and she got knocked out.

Henry 3erd person pov:

Henry was running while crying. He just lost his best friend. His best friend for 7 years of his life. He felt something go into his back he turned around to see a man with grey hair standing in behind him

"what did you do with lizzy!" Henry said looking at the man

"Oh, 002? she will be fine don't worry about her, she will be going to California for a few years" he said smiling while walking over to Henry "My name is Martin Brenner, but you can call me papa" was the last think henry heard before he collapsed in Brenners' arms.

anyways! i have changed it so 002 from the actual stranger things show is 003, and 003 is 004- so on. 002 is lizzys number from now on, so if i write 002, thats Lizzy just remember that :D
