Guys—I used to update twice a week.. what happened! ;-; Welp, I had writers block YAY! But I finished this so *actual yay.* Anyhow! I was going to make this longer but I'm tired XD Well, I'll hopefully ACTUALLY update more frequently now though! But as promised—here's the scene of Luz and werecat Amity under the tree.

Also I don't know if this is really a warning but I'll say it anyways—there's a scene with one character being very angry with another. There is a lot of yelling and strong words as well as implications/reminders of some of the other more triggering scenes in this story. I'll put another warning for this section! But enjoy :)

Edric POV:

I probably got about 50 pictures of Mittens and Luz. I was showing some to Em. We both agreed this one was our favorite: I had no idea how to draw this ahhh-

I took a few more pics before Em suggested we bring the two of them home.

"Home?" I asked, "I don't know if Mittens wants to go home right now."

"No silly. To the Owl House."

"What?"

"You know.. Where Luz lives?"

"I know that!" I slapped Em's shoulder playfully.

"Well then why'd you say 'what'?"

"Because.. well—I don't know! I had to process what you meant, ok." I knew where Luz lived, I just didn't expect to be going there.

"Sure, sure," said Ed smirked.

I sighed, "Let's just go."

I picked up Mittens, and Em drew a spell circle to carry Luz. The Owl House wasn't too far from where we were, so we arrived in under 10 minutes.

I was about to knock on the door when—

"HOOT! Who goes there?"

I jumped backwards, "I uh—I."

"Oh for goodness sake," said my sister, pushing past me and staring at the bird door thing, "We're bringing Luz home, alright?"

"Oh it's just you two."

"Hey what's that supposed to mean?" I said, no long scared of the bird tube.

"It means," the Owl Lady pushed open the door, "That you two can come in."

Em and I nodded and we walked inside. The door closed behind us, and I stared at the bird one last time. He just stared back.
