Beverly Hills was ever so movie like. There was nothing not to like about this amazing place. Every strange face passing by looked like a celebrity or as somebody who devoured attention and wore fashion as their second skin. I wasn't much of a traveller. But something about Beverly Hills was pleasant enough for me to instantly grow a liking towards it."Where are we going?" I ruffled my messy hair as the afternoon sunlight hit my eyes and I narrowed it in response.
Flynn gave me a loop sided grin. "That's a secret." He whispered.
I drew my eyebrows in confusion as anticipation flowed through my bones.
After about twelve minutes, we were at the "surprise".
Facing Flynn, I said, "I hope your "surprise" is decent. I don't wanna go to a strip club or something."
I forgot Genie was beside me as Flynn was locking the car. "What's a strip club?" Genie's innocent eyes were filled with curiosity.
Crap.
This was why you should be extra cautious of your words and actions while you are with six year olds.
Flynn's annoying laughter cut through the tension. He must have been enjoying my discomfort.
"Uh...um...i-it's like a dressing club....w-where you wear like fancy dresses like you do for Halloween. Um...so it's basically just dressing up. That's all." I giggled nervously whilst glaring at Flynn whose face was masked with amusement.
"Wow. Flynn, can we please go to the strip club, then? I could wear a princess dress and a Tiara. Please?" Genie was pleading Flynn to take her to a Strip Club. I smirked evilly. Strike One for me.
"Wha....I...Strip Clubs...they are closed. C'mon, I need to show you a surprise." Flynn stumbled on his words as panic hit us both.
"No. I NEED TO GO TO A STRIP CLUB!!"
Oh my God.
Every face turned to us with eyes widened as saucers. Our faces went beetroot red. I guess mine had even turned purple as I gulped nervously.
"Hey, look. Um...strip clubs are actually like a .....a jail. There will be cops and thieves. It's a bit scary." By the end of my explanation, A look of realization dawned upon Regen's face.
"Really?"
I nodded.
"Then, I am really sorry for doing that. I don't wanna go there anymore."
I let out a long breath and sigh of relief.
"Its okay. Now lets just hurry up a bit." Flynn smiled at her and shook my head at me.
Flynn led the way as we walked through the Beverly Hills park. Just when I was going to give up, I caught a faint sight of glistening water falling.
We walked in the direction of it and when we were closer, I gasped. It was a water fountain. To be more precise, "The Electric Fountain of Beverly Hills".
"Wow....its amazing."
"It is. I used to come here as a kid when my dad was still successful and lived in LA." His eyes were squinted as if he was reliving a memory.
"I love waterfalls!!" Genie took a few steps towards the fountain.
"It's not water falls, princess. It's a water fountain." Flynn reached out to ruffle her red curls and she giggled in response.
