This is not the first time that Taehyung entered Mr. Kim's office but he was still fidgeting. He started looking around the office trying to see if he could delay even for just a few minutes the talk that he himself asked for.

"Taehyungah would you like to drink something?" Seokjin then started showing Taehyung the drinks that he could choose from.

"I'm fine for now Ssaem. Actually I wanted to talk to you because I'm having difficulties with our rehearsals. You see, I'm having difficulties setting aside my negative emotions towards Leah. I know that I need to set aside my issues with her while portraying a role in this play but.." Taehyung started voicing out his problems without looking at his drama class advisor.

"I'm thankful that you decided to open up to me regarding this Taehyungah. I did hear what happened between you and Leah. If you need relationship advice, I can also give you that but at times closure takes time which we don't have right now since we need to finish all our preparations for the play as soon as possible. But. But I can suggest another way." Seokjin replied while pulling Taehyung towards the seating area in his office.

"Aside from practicing your lines and all that comes with it, have you ever taken the time to understand your character and the whole plot of the play?"

"I have read the whole script and I did have an idea on the basic characteristics of my role." Taehyung tried to recall the things that he learned regarding his character.

"That's great, then let me tell you a little secret. The person who wrote the script is actually my husband and the story is about how his parents met. You see my husband lost his parents in a tragic car accident when he was only 18 years old and he only had his little brother left who at that time was only 3 years old. My husband practically raised his little brother all by himself because both his parent's families were no longer in the picture. My husband would always tell stories to his brother about their parents hoping that Jungkookie would still feel that they had one. But most of those stories were anecdotes on how the relationship was between Jungkookie and their parents when they were still alive. So my husband wanted to surprise his baby brother by showing a bit of their family history and since there were limited photos and videos to show, I suggested to him about making it as a play." Seokjin realized that lunch time was almost over so he decided to lay out their lunch before continuing his story.

"Ssaem, isn't this too much for just the two of us?" Taehyung was amazed with all the home cooked meals that he was seeing.

"Well someone is supposed to join us for lunch but it seems that he forgot the time again. Most of the time I still had to hunt him down and bring him here in my office." Seokjin can only shake his head while realizing that if he himself won't make an effort then for sure his Jungkookie will starve to death.

"But Ssaem I don't see why you are telling me all of this." Taehyung tried to remind his teacher about their previous topic.

"Oh right, going back to that. What I'm trying to say is, why don't you focus yourself with this idea that you are helping us tell a story to our baby brother. That may sound selfish but acting is basically just that. Telling a story of another individual other than that of yourself. I want you to always think that every time you are rehearsing, you are no longer Taehyung. You are this character that we wanted everyone to know of and you are not actually doing it with Leah because she is not Leah during the play. Each time you face her, I want you to see the character she is playing and not her as the Leah you know." Taehyung was nodding his head while also enjoying the food that his teacher prepared for him.

"I know it's hard but I would tell you more about your character as well as the character being portrayed by Leah so that every rehearsal and until the day of the play, you will know how to deal with Leah without having your own emotions resurface," Seokjin promised.

"I understand what you are trying to say Ssaem and I will try doing that. I would also appreciate knowing more about my character," Taehyung said while enjoying the Suyuk that his teacher keeps putting on his bowl.

Now, if only I can have Jungkookie agree to my request, everything will turn out great for the play, Seokjin thinks to himself.

I don't really understand how this works. I would usually save drafts to make it easier for me before publishing a new chapter but I'm not sure if readers can read my saved drafts before I got to publish it. I almost published this chapter but good thing that I checked online and it seems that it's just normal to happen 😂

PS: Publishing this chapter as early as now because I'll dedicate my time with streaming. Yet to come is almost here 💜💜💜
