13TH NOTE

Hi Taehyungie hyung,

I am glad to see your response because it meant that I did not make you uncomfortable with my confession. Reading your response already made me so happy. If hyungie is really sure with his decision then hyungie can see me after class at the Arts Building. I will be at Studio 7. I'll be here until 5pm and I'll keep the door unlocked for you. No need to knock since I might not be able to hear it. I'll see you later.

PS: Thank you for the photo. Both you and Yeontan look amazing. I'll be framing this once I get home.

Taehyung keeps checking the time and he can't stop from getting impatient. He badly wants his last class to end so that he can go and meet Kookie already. He has been brewing with anticipation since lunchtime after he read Kookie's note for him. His gut feeling that Jungkook and Kookie are the same increased by leaps and bounds after reading that he'll wait for him at the Arts building. Jungkook is an arts student as well so there is really a chance for him to be Kookie, Taehyung thought to himself while his eyes are glued to the wall clock trying to countdown the minutes until he can go and see Kookie.

Taehyung was the first one to stand up right after the last bell rang indicating the end of the school day. He hurriedly gathered his things and went out of his classroom because he didn't want anybody to delay him. He badly wanted to run over to the Arts building but he reminded himself that Kookie would be there until 5pm and he still had ample time to get there. He is really excited and scared at the same time.

Taehyung has never been to the Arts building so he did not expect that Studio 7 is on the 3rd floor. He was breathing heavily when he got to the landing of the 3rd floor since the building doesn't have any elevator and his only way was to take the stairs.

While he was trying to catch his breath, he could faintly hear classical music coming from one of the studios so he decided to check if it's Studio 7. Taehyung was at the door and about to knock when he remembered that he was supposed to just open it as Kookie instructed. Taehyung took a deep breath before slowly sliding the door open and what he saw inside caught his attention immediately.

Jungkook was sitting in front of an easel and was so focused with whatever he was painting. He was smiling softly while humming to the tune that was coming from a small stereo placed at one corner of the room. Taehyung wanted to come inside but he was transfixed by the aura coming from Jungkook.

There is something different with Jungkook's demeanor while he is painting. Gone is the shy Jungkook and what he is seeing instead is a confident Jungkook. He held himself in a straight posture and the expression on his face is a mixture of softness and happiness.

This is the first time that Taehyung got the chance to really observe the younger one without any interruption so he leaned on the door frame and took his sweet time.

I'm publishing this chapter while at work 😅. I thought I had a lot of reports to work on after my 3 days rest but it seems that there's nothing urgent to do so now I'm bored. Have a great weekend everyone. Borahae 💜
