"Kookie, now that you're hanging out with Taehyung, does that mean that you'll be able to do his portrait for the play?" Seokjin reminded the younger one of the request he made a few weeks ago.
"Yes, I'll do it, hyungie. But I have to ask Taehyungie hyung for his availability first. And can you tell me the scene about the portrait so that I'll know what the portrait should look like?" Jungkook had to know all the details before he could plan out his painting.
"I'll tell you the details over lunch since we don't have enough time right now," Seokjin said after parking his car since they just arrived at their school.
"OK, I'll see you later then Seokjin hyungie," Jungkook immediately went out of the car after giving Seokjin a quick hug since he still plans to leave the doodle that he made last night in Taehyung's locker.
They may be messaging each other right now but he still wants to leave something as simple as a doodle in Taehyung's locker. And he hopes that the doodle will be able to make the older smile and make him remember that someone is always thinking and hoping for his happiness.
Jungkook went to his classes right after leaving the doodle at Taehyung's locker and spent the whole morning paying attention to the lectures. He may be studying Visual Arts but his brother won't appreciate for sure if he won't have good grades with his minor subjects.
By lunchtime, Jungkook was already drained of energy and was sluggishly walking towards his Seokjin hyung's office. Right after opening the office door, Jungkook trudged towards the seating area and plopped his whole body on the sofa.
"Is my Kookie doing OK?" Seokjin immediately went to Jungkook's side and touched the younger's forehead fearing that he was getting sick.
Jungkook may be Namjoon's younger brother but most of the time the couple acts like the younger's parents. Jungkook was quite spoiled with too much affection by the couple and they would always panic if the younger one would get sick.
"I'm just tired, hyungie and I don't know why." Jungkook whined while burying his face in Seokjin's tummy.
"Did something happen during your morning classes?" Seokjin knows that the younger isn't really fond of his morning classes since it usually consists of English, Math and Biology. He knows that Jungkook is actually intelligent like his older brother but would still be inclined to focus on art.
"I am just concerned with my upcoming exams because I'm having a hard time understanding my lessons and it's a struggle as well to have a Math teacher who just mumbles instead of speaking clearly." Jungkook can't help but complain to his hyung.
"Don't worry about that Jungkookie. We can always ask your Namjoon hyung to tutor you on your Math subject. Just bring your notes and workbook when we go home later so that we can have him explain it to you better." Seokjin said while softly patting Jungkook's head.
"But I don't want to bother Joonie hyung while he's at home resting. For sure he is especially tired these days because of the expansion of his company."
"Kookie, you know how much your Namjoon hyung cares for you and he will always be there to help you even if he is tired from work. He will never ever see you as a bother. He would for sure be ecstatic to help you with your studies. Come on and sit properly so that we can start eating," Seokjin helped the younger one to sit properly and start preparing their food at the coffee table.
"Thank you for the food, hyungie. Thank you for always taking care of me even if most of the time I'm not being a good little brother to you and Joonie hyung." Jungkook said with sadness evident in his big round eyes.
"What nonsense are you saying, Jungkookie? You always give happiness to me and your Namjoon hyung. Your small acts of kindness and care would always lighten our day. As simple as your hug or kiss or compliments for us is already enough. If I am to be asked what a good brother is then I would say that it's someone who always listens to his elders, someone who is respectful and helpful, someone who is goofy and clingy most of the time and someone who has a calm temperament while living with a chaotic and dramatic couple. That someone is you, my Jungkookie," Seokjin smiled at Jungkook while pinching his cute cheeks.
"You are always so nice to me hyungie. I'm so thankful that you came to me and Namjoon hyung's lives. I don't know how our life would be without you." Jungkook said while stuffing his mouth of delicious food.
And he says that he is not a good brother but would always say the sweetest thing, Seokjin thought to himself. The rest of their lunch time was spent eating all their food and talking about random topics. Seokjin forgot that he promised the younger one that he would talk more about the play.
