Jungkook still can't believe that he had lunch with Taehyung and until now his cheeks would still blush every time he would recall that Taehyung called him cute. He even pinched my cheeks, Jungkook can't help himself from internally squealing.
It's after class hours and he is still trying to process all the things that happened during lunch and he even had to stay outside just to get some fresh air to clear his mind.
Jungkook is again staying at the courtyard trying to pass the time while waiting for his Seokjin hyung to finish his play rehearsals and the best way to do it is by drawing. He was so focused on his sketching that he almost dropped his sketchpad when someone called his name.
"It's nice seeing you again Jungkookie. What are you doing here?" Taehyung started to sit on the bench with the younger one.
Jungkook can't keep eye contact so he replied while staring down at his sketchpad, "I'm just sketching hyungnim to pass the time. I had to wait for Seokjin hyungie so that we can go home together."
"We just finished our rehearsals and I think Mr. Kim still needs time to talk with the rest of the backstage crew. Is it OK if I'll stay with you while you wait?" Taehyung doesn't know why he kept trying to get the younger one to look at him but couldn't help but smile when the younger one did.
"Hyungnim doesn't need to do that. For sure you are tired from your rehearsals," Jungkook softly said.
"That's why I can sit here for a while and rest unless I am bothering you somehow?" Taehyung hastily asked.
"No, no you're not. I just don't want hyungnim to tire out more when you could already go and rest comfortably at your home." Jungkook was saying all this while shaking both his head and hands in panic. He doesn't want Taehyung to misunderstand him.
"You are really cute Jungkookie. You have the biggest and roundest eyes that I have ever seen. You are so cute that you look like a doll!" Taehyung hasn't realized but he already has Jungkook's face in both of his big hands and he is squeezing him non-stop.
"I don't think that's true hyungnim. I think I don't look like a doll," Jungkook said in a pout since Taehyung is still squeezing his cheeks.
"Don't you look at yourself in the mirror, Jungkookie? You have a small round face and big round eyes so for me those are doll-like features. But now that I'm squeezing your face I can also see that you have bunny-like teeth. Oh my gosh you are really cute!" Taehyung's usual low baritone tone of voice is now high pitched because he can't help from squealing at the younger's cuteness.
"Taehyungah, please don't squeeze my baby brother too much. His skin easily gets bruises," Seokjin then removed his Jungkookie's face from Taehyung's grasp. He then started inspecting his baby's face just in case it got bruised. Good thing it was just red all over.
"I'm so sorry Ssaem and I'm sorry Jungkookie. I was just overwhelmed by your cuteness. I'm sorry if I was not able to help myself from squeezing you." Taehyung looked worriedly at Jungkook, especially after seeing that both of his cheeks were too red.
"Hyungnim did not do it with the intention of hurting me so it's just OK. Seokjin hyungie is just overly protective at times." Jungkook started to pack his sketchpad seeing that his Seokjin hyung was ready to go home.
"Yah, Jungkookah. I'm not being overprotective. I'm just stating facts and you know how your Namjoon hyung would overreact if he saw you with bruises. And Taehyungah, I'm not angry with you. I just want you to be more careful next time."
"I'll take better care of Jungkookie from now on Ssaem. I'll go ahead this time. I hope I haven't bruised your cheeks Jungkookie," Taehyung patted Jungkook's cheeks for the last time before bowing to Seokjin and waving them goodbye.
"Well, I think your first day of meeting Taehyung went well." Seokjin can't help voicing out when they were already in the car. Jungkook didn't know how to react so all throughout the car ride he was just holding his abused cheeks.
