Boyfriends

Love is both a noun and a verb. It can be conveyed through words or through actions. Love can be explained in a lot of manner and can be felt in different degrees. It can be seen in a lot of forms and it can definitely make someone's life better. Jungkook hasn't heard the word love from Taehyung's statement but he can definitely see it in his eyes. Jungkook only heard the word like from the older but still Taehyung was able to make his intentions clear. Jungkook was able to understand that Taehyung is intending to build a future together with him and that he wants to be more than friends. Hearing those words from Taehyung made Jungkook's heart swell with happiness because he knows that Taehyung is the only one for him. Now Jungkook can look forward to more years of being with the man he truly and deeply loves.

Looking deeply in the eyes of the only man for him, Jungkook uttered his reply, "I would love to be in a relationship with you, hyungie. I would love to call you my boyfriend and to look forward to a future where we are still together." Jungkook can hear Taehyung releasing a relieved sigh after he gave his response and it made him grin from ear to ear. Jungkook then proceeded to tighten his hold on Taehyung and enjoyed the warmth of the older man that he can now call boyfriend. "I love you so much hyungie. You don't know how happy you made me feel today."

"I'm so happy as well Kookie that I can now call you my boyfriend. You are now mine and I'm looking forward to a lot of years of us being together. You made your promises for me before and now let me make my own promises for you." Taehyung saw how Jungkook smiled softly and nodded his head for him to continue speaking so he inhaled deeply to calm his rapid heartbeat then verbalized his promises for his bunny. "I promise to you that I will be present and involved in this new relationship that we are embarking on together. I promise that I would always invest time and effort to make our relationship work. I promise to always have an open communication with you so that we can ensure that we will avoid any misunderstanding that may inflict pain towards each other. I promise that I will remain as your friend as we will continue to work in making our relationship stronger. We may be young at this moment but I know in my heart that I will do my very best to stay permanent in your life. And I can confidently make these promises to you because I honestly love you."

Astonishment then exhilaration was clearly seen on Jungkook's face after hearing those unexpected words from Taehyung. Jungkook can really say that Taehyung never failed to make him feel his care and sincerity but it is still different when you hear those affirming words from the person you love. Jungkook can only smile from ear to ear and his eyes are sparkling while looking at his boyfriend. "I love you my boyfriend," Jungkook softly said while showing his famous bunny smile to Taehyung. Taehyung playfully clutched his chest as if he was struck by an arrow straight to his heart and said, "My boyfriend is so cute! How will I be able to survive this? Baby, you should take responsibility for making my heartbeat raise like this!" The young couple just grinned at each other then continued to be playfully sweet during the whole night and would constantly exchange 'I love yous'.

"So you did not confess in such a grand gesture but it was still so sweet and cute. I wonder what kind of a boyfriend you are, Taehyungssi?" The MC asked Taehyung and decided not to voice out his observation that the young actor was very cautious in not using any gender specific pronoun when Taehyung was talking about his love life.

"If it's my baby bunny who will answer such a question, for sure the answer will be, the best kind of boyfriend," Taehyung cheekily said and that answer just made the whole audience to be endeared with him. Seeing the light and happy atmosphere of the audience made the MC end the broadcast in a light manner as well. The rest of the interview went smoothly and everyone was hoping that they will receive positive feedback once the show is put on air. Everyone was not expecting Taehyung's answers but they can see that the young actor handled it well. "I hope that both your career and love life will be successful. It was really nice meeting you, Taehyungssi," the MC said to Taehyung right after they ended the recording. "Thank you very much for your kind words and I appreciate that you did not ask further details about my partner," Taehyung said while giving a deep bow to the MC. "I have to go ahead because I still have boyfriend duties to do after this. Thank you again everyone," Taehyung politely addressed the rest of the crew and his colleagues as a way of saying his farewells.
