Taehyung was at the cafeteria for lunch and was munching on his food while looking at Jungkook's doodle. He was not expecting to receive something like this from the younger one, especially since they started hanging out. But now he is looking at a piece of paper with a drawing of a grinning bunny and this time the bunny is also holding a placard. Written on the placard are words in bold letters saying, GO GET EM TIGER!
"I see that Kookie is still leaving something on your locker. Didn't you say that you already met?" asked Jimin, who was seated across from Taehyung. Taehyung grinned and showed Jimin the doodle. "Wow, Kookie is really talented and it turns out he is also your personal cheerleader."
"He is really sweet. I already sensed it while reading his letters but it still felt different when I met him personally. He was so polite, thoughtful and soft spoken. He is really a great guy." Taehyung can't stop gushing about Jungkook.
"I can really see that even if I haven't met Kookie myself. Just seeing this doodle really says a lot. Like these takes effort and he is surely thinking of you while he is drawing this." Jimin is liking this Kookie more and more seeing how he is consistent in treating Taehyung nicely.
"He is actually talented. He's even painting me a portrait of Yeontan and he texted me a while ago, reminding me to enjoy lunch and to not use my phone while having lunch with you." Taehyung kept praising Jungkook. "Why did he say that about phones?" Jimin, being an avid user of smartphones, can't help but ask.
"He mentioned a few times how I'm not spending quality time with friends while I'm still in a relationship with Leah or how disgruntled I was after the breakup that even if I'm with friends I wasn't still talking much. He wanted me not to use my phone while I'm with you so that we can really talk."
"And you said that he is just a sophomore right?" Jimin wanted to make sure because from what he heard Kookie is already mature in thinking.
"Yes, he is 16 but he'll turn 17 soon."
"So he was observing you since he was 14 and he was mature enough to understand all these things. Even back then he can already see that it's not a good thing that you were not spending time with friends while being in a relationship." Jimin is getting more amazed by Kookie.
"I think it doesn't have anything to do with maturity but that is how he was raised. I forgot to say that he is actually Mr. Kim's brother-in-law and knowing Mr. Kim, for sure he disciplined Jungkook well." Taehyung recalled how his teacher would always say that one way of showing love is to give utmost attention to the person you are with and to do that, you must avoid using phones while being with them.
"Then that explains why Kookie is such a great guy. Mr. Kim may not be one of my teachers but I already heard a lot of good things about him. And this time, I'm also hearing only good things about Kookie." Jimin is really happy that Jungkook turned out to be a great person because he doesn't want a repeat of Taehyung's previous relationship. He hopes that Taehyung would grow more comfortable with Jungkook and would see that it will be a good decision to be with the younger one. But he knows that it's still too early to tell if a relationship will start between the two. "It would be best if you will get to know him better and spend more time with him."
"I agree with that, Jiminie. But enough about me. How is your dance rehearsal so far?" Taehyung wanted to know the current happenings in his best friend's life because even if they are living in the same house, they are still too busy currently that they barely checked-in on each other. So for the rest of their lunchtime, the best of friends exchange details about their ongoing activities and current projects.
