Olivia's POV
After hanging out in the library during lunch, I walked to the music room. Like I have been doing for the past few lessons, I took out a guitar and walked to a small cubicle on the other side of the classroom and closed the door behind me, as the other students began to sit down at the chairs placed in rows at the centre of the classroom.
Today, however, I wasn't feeling like playing. I felt so incredibly tired and had zero energy to do anything. I felt dizzy to the point it was hard to function at some point. It felt like the longer I had actually eaten anything and kept it in my system, the harder it was to break that cycle. I decided to close my eyes for a second, and after what felt like a few minutes I heard a know on the door. I quickly bounced up and opened the door, taking the guitar with me to the classroom.
"I'm so sorry I fell asleep Ms Blanchard, it won't happen again, please don't call my parents", I said to her in my tired state.
She looked at me for a moment before she smiled, took the guitar from my hand and spoke
"Olivia, if there's anything bothering you, you know you can talk to me right?", she said while placing the instrument down on the ground.
"Yeah, thanks, I really appreciate it, but I'm totally fine", I smiled as I took my bags from the ground and made my way out of the classroom and started to slowly walk to the locker rooms.
As the clock got closed to 4 pm, I changed my clothes and dragged my feet to the soccer field. I was praying to any supernatural being that we wouldn't do running today.
"OK team let's take it easy today. We'll do a little bit of conditioning, some partner work and a lot of stretching", the coach shouts, his voice echoing throughout the surrounding area.
I sigh in relief. Right now, anything than running, I can do, I thought to myself.
As practice was getting closer to an end, I felt my well-being being sucked right out of me more and more as minutes passed by. I pushed myself as hard as I could with everything that we did, and just hoped that the coach would see that I'm working hard.
"Okay great work see you guys next week", my coach shouted once we were done. "And especially, awesome work Olivia", he added while starting to walk away. I smiled, despite feeling awful, I felt good.
After we had finished, I had to keep laying down for a bit on the grass before I could walk up to the car. My mind was spinning and my legs felt like jello.
I saw mama waiting in her car. I quickly put my things in the backseat and almost collapsed into the seat next to my mama, being so exhausted.
"You okay bella? How was practice?", she asked me worried while I rested my head on the window next to me.
"Fine, can we just please go home now", I pleaded and closed my eyes.
Carina's POV
The drive was quiet and I kept looking to my right at my daughter, who looked fragile and exhausted. I parked the car in our driveway and nudged the girl a little bit, waking her up from her short sleep.
"Bambina we're home", I said as I got out of the car, picking up Olivia's things from the backseat.
She didn't reply back to me, but slowly got out of the car and walked inside, where Maya was already waiting for us.
Olivia's POV
I was already so tired, but I felt like I still had to go running once we got home since my soccer practice was pretty easy today. My mama put down my soccer bag and took my book bag to the kitchen, gesturing for me to follow her. Maya was sitting in the kitchen scrolling through some emails.
