Chapter 42

A/N: hi everyone! I'm giving you another chapter today (not on Thursday). As I mentioned in my previous chapter, I met Dani yesterday (7.5), and I don't really know how to express it. It was amazing to see her live, she looked gorgeous and everyone asked really good questions. However, the time was so so limited, that half of the people weren't able to ask any questions, and a lot of the questions came from fans who she recognized (which is very understandable), or were also in the previous meeting rooms, which made sad a little bit. 

I also totally butchered my 3:1, it was 1.30 am when it happened and I have never struggled with stuttering but there I totally did. I wanted to say thank you for her short film and I hope the experience of producing/directing it was rewarding to her as well, and thank her for bringing the important topic of consent back to the surface, and I feel like I just said it totally wrong. I also had to lie to her when she asked if I had seen the film, and I didn't wanna say that a fan had leaked it and therefore I'd seen it, so I had to say I had seen clips of it but not the full film :') so yeah, but it was an experience on its own haha. I do feel better knowing that she'll not most likely remember that conversation ever again lol. 

BUT, I am so incredibly happy I got to experience the virtual con, and she's a true angel for taking literally her whole day without proper breaks to do this. She's so selfless and kind, and I hope one day everyone has the chance to see her.

No one's POV

Christmas was now over, and the DeLuca-Bishop family spent their time with one another, enjoying the rest of the holiday season and the nice weather. The new year was around, and the family didn't have any specific plans. Maya and Carina had invited their friends from the station and hospital over, to have a small gathering, where they could play games, drink some wine and later watch some fireworks. 

Olivia however, was invited to do something different. It was New Year's Eve, and she was sitting on her bed when Micah texted her. The teens had seen each other a lot during the month of December and the holidays, and had now made it official, that they were indeed dating. 

Micah: "Hey, what are you doing tonight?"

"Nothing probably. Moms have invited some friends over for the night. You?"

"Wanna hang out tonight? The fireworks should be pretty from the park. We could take blankets and stuff"

"Yeah absolutely"

"Cool. We also have some relatives over so we're having a late dinner. Is 9 pm okay?"

"Sounds good, I'll meet you there"

"I can also pick you up. Are you sure you wanna walk?"

"Yeah it's okay, it's not far. I'll see you tonight"

"Okay, but text me if you change your mind <3"

The moms, especially Maya weren't exactly thrilled when Olivia broke down the news about the two teens dating. Carina was happy for the teen, but it took a little bit more time for Maya to soak in the news. 

Olivia walked downstairs to meet her moms who were preparing snacks and drinks for tonight. The girl approached the couple, asking if she could go out tonight.
