No one's POV

As weeks went on, Olivia's stress levels increased even higher. Semester exams were soon approaching, and the girl had 5 exams to study for, multiple essays and projects to do, and also the need to succeed in soccer. Feeling overwhelmed would be an understatement.

Maya and Carina had noticed, that something was clearly bothering the girl, but their daughter refused to tell them about it and had been snapping at them almost in every interaction they had. The mothers were secretly afraid that some of the unhealthy habits had started to creep their back into Olivia's life, but she still sent pictures of her empty, or almost empty lunches, and still ate during breakfast and dinner. The food amounts had been decreasing a little, but not too alarmingly. According to the girl's therapist, she didn't really speak in therapy either. Both Carina and Maya were clueless, about what to do.

As Olivia walked down the crowded hallway, she felt a knot form in her stomach. The thought of all the schoolwork she had to complete before the end of the week made her feel sick. She had a history essay due, a math test to study for, and a chemistry project that was just too much to handle. These would have been okay on their own, but adding all the extra credit assignments and soccer, was too much. She felt stupid for asking for all the extra work when she didn't even need it. Olivia had always been a good student, but this year was different. She had taken on too much. Too many classes and extra credit work, which wasn't even necessary for her, and now was struggling to balance her schoolwork with her other commitments. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of assignments and deadlines. Additionally, the fact that she hadn't got a proper rest in weeks wasn't helping with her performance in soccer either.

She tried to push the overwhelming feeling aside and focus on the task at hand, but as she sat down in her history class, her mind was elsewhere. She couldn't concentrate on the lecture, and her mind wandered back to her never-ending to-do list. When the bell rang, Olivia packed up her things and headed to her next class. She tried to ignore the overwhelming feeling, but it was starting to consume her. She felt like she was suffocating.

As the day went on, Olivia's anxiety continued to build. By the time she got home, she was exhausted and on the verge of tears. She tried to work on her history essay, but her mind was blank. She couldn't focus, and every time she tried to write, her thoughts became jumbled and confused.

Feeling defeated, Olivia put her laptop away and curled up on her bed. She tried to relax and take a deep breath, but the overwhelming feeling continued to linger. She knew she needed to get her schoolwork done, but the thought of it made her feel even more anxious. She was stuck.

The next day, feeling as tired as she had for weeks now, she went to soccer practice, just wanting to get home after a long day.

They were doing some drills, her mind completely elsewhere and distracted. The next thing she noticed was that she had lost her balance and twisted her ankle, falling to the ground. She immediately noticed the sharp pain in her right ankle as she tried to get up and put weight on it. She knew it wasn't broken, but angrily twisted. She'll live with this. She couldn't afford a break now.

"Olivia you good?", she heard her couch shout.

"Umm yeah, just rolled my ankle but I'm good", she yelled back, internally steaming from frustration.
