A/N: Because I didn't give you a chapter on Sunday, I'll give you a chapter a day early. Hope you enjoy :)

No one's POV

It was the next morning. Last night Olivia had finally told her mother's everything, and had peacefully fallen asleep in her moms embrace after a lot of tears, talking and cuddles. The girl felt lighter, but the struggle wasn't fully over.

Olivia woke up to the sound of her moms talking in the kitchen. She rubbed her eyes and checked the time on her phone, it was later than she would usually wake up. If she didn't hurry, she would be late. She stretched her arms and yawned deeply, got up, and started to get ready for the day.

Once she was dressed, she put her back bag on her shoulder and headed to the kitchen, where both of her moms were talking.

"Good morning, sweetie", Maya said with a smile.

"Morning. I slept in so I need to leave now or I'm gonna be late", the girl rambled, taking an apple from the counter and leaving to put on her shoes.

"Honey wait, we have some news for you", Maya shouted from the kitchen, which caused Olivia to walk back to the room, with only one shoe on.

"What is it?", Olivia asked, feeling confused and a little anxious.

"We called your school and asked for the rest of the week off for you", Carina said. "We think you need a break."

"A break?", Olivia repeated, not quite sure she understood. "B- but what about my grades and soccer?"

"We've talked to your principal, teachers and coach, and they all agreed that you need some time to rest and recharge", Maya explained. "You've been pushing yourself too hard, and it's starting to affect your health and well-being".

"But my grades, I- I can't fail. This will make me fail if I am absent", Olivia started to panic.

"Sunshine calm down. Yes, school and grades are important, but like mama said, we have discussed this with your school and they agreed on this. This will not affect your grades or GPA. That is guaranteed. After discussing your situation, your principal even encouraged you to take a break. We are your parents and we need to outrule you, so this is what we have decided. Honey, you need a break and time to rest", Maya explained gently.

Olivia couldn't believe what she was hearing. Several days off from school and soccer? It honestly sounded like a dream come true. But at the same time, she felt guilty and worried about falling behind.

"I don't know", she said, biting her lip. "What if I miss something important?"

"Trust us, bella", Carina said, putting a reassuring hand on Olivia's shoulder. "Your education and soccer can wait for a couple of days. Your health and happiness can't."

Olivia thought about it for a moment and then nodded slowly. "Okay", she said, still feeling a little unsure. "I guess a break would be nice."

Maya and Carina smiled at each other, relieved to see Olivia looking a little more relaxed.

"We're proud of you for speaking up, Olivia", Maya said. "It takes courage to admit when you need help."

Olivia smiled back, feeling a little better. Maybe the days off wouldn't be so bad after all. She hugged her moms and then went back to her room to get some more sleep. She tried not to worry about the possible things she might be missing during this break, and she deeply hoped that the fact that this would not affect her grades would indeed be true.

After the girl woke up about an hour later, she tried to figure out what to do in order to relax. She tried to occupy herself with reading, watching TV, and doing some light stretching, but she just couldn't shake off the nagging feeling that she was falling behind on her schoolwork and the fact that she should be in classes right now. She couldn't sit still, and her mind kept racing with thoughts of unfinished assignments and upcoming tests.

Finally, she gave in and decided to work on some of her schoolwork. She tiptoed into her room, trying not to cause attention to her moms who both had a day off again and pulled out her textbooks and laptop. She started working on a math problem set, thinking it would help her feel more productive and accomplished.

After a while, she heard a knock on her door, and her moms came in. They looked at her sternly, and Olivia felt a flash of guilt.

"Bambina, what are you doing?", Carina asked, eyeing the textbooks on her bed.

"I'm just trying to do a little bit of homework", Olivia said, trying to sound nonchalant.

"Didn't we tell you to take a break?", Maya said, crossing her arms.

"I know, I'm sorry", Olivia said, feeling ashamed. "I just can't help it. I feel like I'm falling behind and that I should be doing things."

"Bambina, you need to trust us on this", Carina said, sitting down next to her. "You won't fall behind in a couple of days. Your health and well-being are more important than a few assignments. Besides, as your teachers have assured, this break will not affect your grades negatively. Bella, please trust us".

Maya nodded in agreement. "We understand that you're used to being busy all the time, but sometimes it's okay to take a step back and relax."

Olivia sighed, feeling a little embarrassed. She knew that her moms were right, but it was hard for her to break the habit of being constantly busy and trying to overachieve. She put away her textbooks and laptop and promised to try to relax for the rest of the day.

Maya and Carina left the room, and Olivia lay down on her bed, feeling slightly deflated. She tried to clear her mind and enjoy the day off, but it was hard. She felt like she was wasting time, and it made her anxious.

Finally, she decided to go for a walk. She put on her sneakers and headed out the door, feeling the crisp autumn air on her face. She walked aimlessly, not knowing where to go, but it felt good to be outside and moving.

As she walked, she noticed the leaves changing colours, and the quietness of the streets without the usual rush of cars and school buses. She felt a sense of peace and contentment that she hadn't felt in a while.

She walked for a few hours, taking in the scenery and letting her mind wander. When she got back home, she felt more relaxed and at ease. She spent the rest of the day reading a book and taking a nap, feeling content with the day and grateful for her moms' support. She started to ease into the idea of taking this break and saw that it could possibly be a good thing for her.

As her break went on, Olivia found it easier to relax and take care of herself. She realized that she had been pushing herself too hard and neglecting her own well-being, and the break was just what she needed to reset and recharge.

She spent time with her moms in the mornings and at night, talking and laughing, playing board games, going on walks, and cuddling on the couch watching movies and at night. She also took up some new hobbies, like yoga and baking, which helped her focus on the present and enjoy the moment.

On her third day off, Olivia had an appointment with her therapist Sarah. They talked about how Olivia was feeling and how the break was going. Olivia admitted that it had been hard at first, but she was starting to feel more relaxed and less anxious. Sarah praised her for taking the time to take care of herself and encouraged her to keep it up.

As the week went on and she only had one day off left anymore, Olivia began to feel more confident about going back to school. She knew that it wouldn't be easy, but she also knew that she had the support of her moms and her therapist. She started to make a plan for how she would manage her workload and prioritize self-care so that she wouldn't fall back into the same habits that had led to her burnout.

On the last day of her break, Olivia felt a sense of gratitude for the time she had taken off. She knew that it had been necessary for her mental and physical health, and she was glad that her moms had been supportive and understanding. She felt closer to them than ever, and the dynamic between them had improved dramatically since she had opened up about her struggles.

As she headed back to school the next day, Olivia felt a mix of nerves and excitement. She knew that it wouldn't be easy, but she also knew that she was stronger and more resilient than she had thought. She had taken the time to take care of herself, and that had made all the difference.
