You found the key I've never known existed Used it and loosened up my grip All that you gave was hard for me to receive But you could show me how easy it can be
Things I protected at all cost Now became all yours
My thoughts that were always elsewhere Every emotion I kept in hard shells Secrets that never came into view Now it's all taken by you
My tears had fallen a lot But my smile is only yours
My heart has been lost Tried to find a place to call home All the things it had to go through But now it's taken by you
