Haven screamed as she pushed. Soon, the cries of a baby filled the air.
"Congrats, Mom, it's a girl," the doctor said.
Three minutes later, a baby boy came into the world.
Haven held her son and daughter and smiled. "It's nice to finally meet you, Sianna, Luca. I'm sorry your dad isn't here. He was so excited to meet the two of you."
The twins' eyes closed as they slept against their mother and tears fell down Haven's cheeks.
"You should be here, Sitka. You and Dean both should. I don't know where Sam is, and I'm scared to do this alone." She looked down at her children and a small smile formed. "But I know I can. I love you two so much. It won't be easy, but we can do it."
