"I don't think I should drink tonight" kai nodded in response as they walked hand in hand to Dereks dorm room.
He was hosting a dorm party for 2nd year students as well as 1st.
"Then don't" Amelia nodded as kai squeezed her hand in their own.
They arrived at Dereks dorm, but Mark was the one to open the door when they knocked.
"Derek your baby sister is here!" Amelia rolled her eyes before speaking.
"Lovely to see you too Mark" the older boy laughed before moving so they could both walk through the door.
"Kai" Mark nodded at the tall blonde, being quite fond of them.
"Mark" Kai adresses back before Derek came walking over to them.
"He's not bothering you is he?" Derek asked, knowing mark had a tendency to annoy Amelia, rarely Kai.
"Nope, he's just being Mark" Amelia replied.
"Well him being Mark is enough for anyone to handle" both Kai and Amelia laughed.
"Drinks are in the kitchen help yourself" Derek was a 2nd year student meaning his dorm was much bigger and paid for.
"Thanks" Kai lead Amelia into the kitchen.
"You're having something?" Amelia asked watching as Kai let go of her hand and opened the fridge.
"Yeah just a couple beers" Amelia nodded knowing it was exam season so kai had been stressed recently.
"Ok" Kai grabbed a beer from the fridge and tapped the cap against the counter a few times before the lips flew off with a pop.
Kai lifted the glass bottle so it wouldn't spill before pressing it against their lips.
There were a few people the couple hadn't seen before, but they mostly knew the 1st year students.

Kai had only had a few beers like they had said to Amelia.
Amelia hadn't had anything to drink because she knew how she suffered during the night whenever she drank.
Tom was there as well as Ashley.
"Hey" Tom patted Kai's shoulder making them jump slightly.
"Sorry man I forgot" Tom knew kai didn't like to be physically touched so took their hand from their shoulder.
"It's alright" Kai knew Tom had a little to drink so let it slide.
"Where's your girl?" Ashley asked.
"She's talking to her brother" Tom and Ashley nodded in understanding.
"Go grab her, I'm bored here" Kai raised a brow in question.
"Just go grab her Bartley" Kai did as they were told and made their way over to Amelia.
"Tom wants to leave, we should go with" Amelia nodded in response and stood from the sofa.
"Bye Derek" Derek smiled at his sister before waving to Kai.
"Amelia!" Ashley opened her arms, clearly drunk.
"Hi Ashley" Amelia looked over Ashley's shoulder eyeing Kai.
"Let's go" Tom held onto Amelia's hand and dragged her from Dereks dorm.
"Where are we going?" Amelia whispered as they walked through the halls of the college and out of the main doors.
"I don't know" Kai watched as Tom pulled keys from his pocket and opened his car.
