After a day at school, I drove home to find dad's cruiser already in the driveway. When I make my way into the living room, dad is sitting on the sofa with the food already there. I dove onto the couch hugging my dad.
"What is this for?" He asks wrapping his arms around me.
"Just wanted to show you how much I love you," I reply.
He smiles at me and kisses my head. We spend a few hours eating, laughing, and reminiscing about old memories. It came time for me to get ready to head over to the Cullen's.
"I'm heading over to Billy's, so I won't be alone for the night. I hope you have a great time tonight. God, I can't believe my daughters are 18," Dad says. I head upstairs to get ready.

I head downstairs and see dad about to leave.
"You look beautiful,"
"Thank you, have a good time at Billy's. I have a key, so if you get back before me, I'll make sure everything is locked up."
He thanks me and walks me to my car before getting into his own.
AT CULLEN HOUSE-
Jasper opens my door and twirls me around.
"Why don't you look astounding!" He exclaims kissing me. We walk into their house and I am hugged by Rose and Alice. "I knew this dress would look amazing on you," Alice says. She then drags me by my wrist and when we walk into the sitting room, I see it filled with candles. It looks beautiful.
"So, Bella and Edward are upstairs, when they come down we will open presents then have some cake," Alice says. I can't help but to laugh because as usual Alice has everything down to a T. We stand around talking for a few minutes when Eddie and Bella make their way to where we are. I can't help but grimace at her dress. It is very Bella-like, but not the nicest dress.
I see Alice with Bella's camera and insist on a picture of the 'happy couple'. The awkwardness radiating from them is jarring. When that is done, Edward walks over to Emmett. Alice is fussing over Bella, and I can see that she is loving it.
"Dating an older woman... HOT!" Emmett comments. Edward gives him a deadpan look and I try not to laugh. Bella looks at Emmett and I can see the anger brewing.
"OKAY PRESENT TIME!" Alice announces. I stay by Jasper as Alice hands me the gift from Rose. I open it to see a beautiful bracelet.
"I love it, thank you," I say hugging Rose. Presents go on as normal when Esme hands me and Bella envelopes.
"You're both looking a little pale," she says as a joke. I laugh and open it. I see that it is two tickets to go and see my mom. When I go to hug Esme and Carlisle, I turn and see Bella with a papercut. I see Jasper fighting with himself and before he can do anything I run to him.
Wrapping my arms around him I say, "Jasper look at me, LOOK AT ME," when he looks at me I carry on, "concentrate on me and my scent." I see that it has calmed him slightly but not enough, I look at Emmett and give him a look to help me out here. I let Jasper go and when he looks at Bella, Edward pushes her back and she ends up going into a bunch of glass. This made Jasper feral and Emmett and Annie managed to get him out.
"What the hell Edward!!! Jasper wasn't going to do anything, Well done you've made things worse." I exclaim angrily. I storm out to find Jasper to reassure him. Before I know it, Jasper has me in his arms and is taking in my scent.
"I am so sorry baby," he says with so much emotion.
I grab his face and say, "It is not your fault, it was clear that you weren't going to do anything. Edward should have watched his strength, or taken her out of the room." I assure him. The last thing I want him to do is to blame himself. He dragged himself away and calmed himself down. I am so proud of him. I spend a few minutes with him keeping him calm. He walks me to my car and tells me he will get in contact with me soon. I made sure to leave him something with my scent on it to keep him leveled.
When I get home, I head straight to bed. I can't help but think that Bella had done that on purpose. I knew how much she hated aging and the idea that she is 18 while Edward is stuck at 17. The resentment I felt for Bella was growing and growing. The way she was almost parading her papercut in front of a house of vampires.
I go to sleep thinking that everything would change, and not for the better.
Jaspers POV-
The guilt I felt was astronomical. I could have killed Bella if it wasn't for Lucy. She is my rock, my world, I could never hurt her. While I am wallowing in self-pity, Rose comes out and lets me know that everything has been cleaned.
When I am sat down, Edward comes in and I can feel the sadness and guilt coming from him.
Silence blankets the room before Edward starts to speak.
"We need to leave. We are a danger to Bella and Lucy," he says. I am dumbfounded. I am not leaving the love of my life. I see Edward look at me, hearing what I had said in my head.
"We have to Jasper, look at what had happened tonight," He carries on.
"That was not his fault, Lucy had calmed him down until you made it worse, if anything, YOU are the danger, not us," Rosalie backs me up.
"I know, but we have to leave regardless," I can feel my anger rising. How dare he try and get me to leave my mate. All because of his blood singer.
"Carlisle, people are starting to ask questions about us, about why we are not aging. This is for the best," Edward drones on.
Major takes over and pins him to a wall by his throat.
"I AM NOT LEAVING MY MATE! NOT BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT CONTROL YOURSELF!" Major screams out. Emmett and Carlisle manage to get me off him. I get control back.
"Carlisle, I am not leaving Lucy, I can't," I say with venom in my eyes.
I can see the conflicted look on his face. "Edward, I won't split up mates. The rest of us can leave, and we can go back to Alaska." I am elated that Carlisle won't give him his own way.
Everyone decides to go their own way but to keep in touch. I find my own apartment and plan to tell Lucy when I can. I will not let anyone rip us apart..
