Lucy POV -
Today was the day that everyone was meeting up to train for the army that was coming our way. Despite having the pack on our side fighting, I'm beginning to feel anxious. What if someone got hurt? Or worse, killed! I wouldn't be able to live with myself. Everyone was talking about how to keep me, dad and Bella safe. We obviously couldn't be on the battlefield, and being at home wasn't any better. So it was decided that dad would be with Billy and the imprints, two wolves would be hanging around to keep an ear out for rouge vampires. Me and Bella? It was decided that we would spread our scents around the forest, and we would both spend the night on the mountain. Edward would join us, him being protection, but also his ability to read thoughts would come in handy. Jacob would also spend the night with us before switching out with Seth in the morning.
I hated that so many people would be putting their lives on the line, but many more lives could be ruined if the army wasn't dealt with.
I had made my way to the training ground with Jasper, and we were waiting for the pack to arrive. At this point, Jasper and Emmett we're sparring, well, it was more Jasper throwing Emmett around. But with Emmett's competitive nature, he was not going to back down.
The pack arrived on time and that is when the real training to start.
"They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms," Edward said translating for everyone. I could understand everyone's distrust for each other, considering being enemies was almost ingrained in their DNA, the fact that everyone was able to put their feelings to the back burner, meant a lot.
"They came, that is what matters," Carlisle started, showing how grateful he was. Just as Jasper was going to take over, everyone heard the sound of Bella's demon truck. When Bella was within our sights, we all looked at her with disbelief.
"Why are you here Bella?" I questioned her.
"Because they are all fighting the army for me, and I deserve to know what's going on," Bella said while walking over to where Jacob was. Just as she was about go pet him, Malia in her coyote form, gave her a warning by lunging at her. This scared Bella off enough to stay away.
"Bella, they are fighting for the innocent people who could be killed, they are fighting for me and dad, it's not all about you," I said with annoyance.
When I said this, Bella had a look of utter disbelief, as if this was news to her and that the world didn't revolve around her.
"Don't be stupid Lucy, those people don't mean anything to me, and if anything happens to you or Charlie, oh well, people die, people move on,"
When she said this, I lost control and pinned her up against a tree, I began to threaten her.
"Say what you want about me, but if you ever disrespect dad like that again, I will hand you over to Victoria and watch happily as she drains you," Bella's face pales and she nods.
With this I walk back to where I was and allow the training to go ahead.

"Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat the," Carlisle tells the wolves.
"They want to know how the newborns differ from us," Edward translates.
"They're a great deal stronger than us, because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful... Than in out first several months of life," Carlisle says before handing the reigns to Jasper.
"Carlisle is right. A newborn army doesn't need thousand like a human army. And no human army could stand against them. The two most important things to remember are, first... Never let them get their arms around you, they'll crush you instantly. The second... Never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that. And you will lose," Jasper instructs Emmett not to hold back. I could see the excitement in Emmett's eyes.
As time went on, Cullens would swap out and go against each other, and Jasper would give advice along the way.
"Never lose focus. Never turn your back on your enemy." They were just a few things Jasper said. I could see the wolves were impressed and took in every bit of information they could. After a few hours of this, it was time to head home. Jasper came up to me and I made sure to give him a huge hug. I know this brought up memories of Maria and his time with newborns. As we where in our little bubble of comfort, Bella had to come along and ruin it.
"Are you sure there is nothing else I can do?" she questioned.
"No, anything else may throw everyone else off." Jasper said with finality in his voice. Bella knew he was not going to budge on this and changed the subject.
"Hey, what are those marks on your arm," at this felt Jasper tense, and I told Bella that it was none of her business and to stop being so nosy. I dragged Jasper to his car, and I apologized for Bella. He just assured me that it was okay.

When we arrived at my house, we were greeted by dad, who had just gotten home. We told him how training went, and I told him about Bella. Dad just sighed, he didn't need to say anything, I knew Bella was stressing him out. After catching him up on everything, me and Jasper went upstairs to have some time to ourselves. After all it would be the last time until after the battle we would properly be by ourselves.
