My eyes slowly blinked open as I looked out my bedroom window and saw the sun starting to come up. I went back over to my bed and started straightening it up from the night before.

Before you ask, vampires don't have to sleep but we can and I do. It helps me keep a normal stable routine.

What the hell would I do all throughout the night if I didn't sleep? There are actually many things I can do but that's beside the point.

I finished making my bed and I made my way over to my closet to pick out an outfit for the day.

I finally came to a decision on what to wear. I decided on black jeans, a white crop top with a leather jacket.

I also paired it with my black leather boots. Black was my color. I liked most things in my black. Black is simple and goes with almost everything.

My bed sheets are black, most of my clothes are black and my nails are black 90% of the time.

I grabbed my towel and made my way to the bathroom for a shower.

I turned the water on hot and let the water pour down my back, making its way down my legs. The hot water immediately sank into my skin.

Vampire's emotions and sense of touch are heightened. You can feel everything so much more as a vampire.

A tickle for a human feels like a scratch for a vampire. A bird chirping for a human sounds like a lion roaring for a vampire.

Being angry feels like your whole body is on fire. Being sad feels like your heart is being ripped out of your chest over and over again.

I washed my body with my vanilla-scented body before stepping out and wrapping my towel around my body.

I went over to the bathroom mirror to start doing my makeup and hair for the day.

I never wore much makeup but I always wore enough to make my natural features pop. I added a little bit of blush and bronzer before moving to my eyes. I added some mascara and a little eyeliner to make my light brown eyes pop. I finished it off with some clear lipgloss that made my lips shine.

My hair still had the same curls from the night before so I just left it how it was and turned my attention to getting dressed.

I sprayed my body with perfume before putting my shoes on and making my way downstairs.

Easton was sitting at the table reading a newspaper while drinking coffee. He acted like a 70-year-old man most of the time.

We all know he is way past that but still.

"Morning," I said before grabbing a cup of coffee for myself.

"Morning Sis," He said looking away from his newspaper for a second to give me a slight smile.

"Where's Nick?" I said taking another sip of my coffee while leaning against the side of the table.

"I can't keep up with your brother Seth," Easton seemed annoyed.

Easton is always acting like our dad. It is rare that he actually acted like our brother. He's been that way since we were kids.

"He's your brother too Easton" I got up, set my cup of coffee on the counter, and made my way to Nick's bedroom. Nick's bedroom is the only bedroom downstairs so all I had to do was walk across the living room.

"Sometimes I wish he wasn't" I heard Easton say under his breath. I don't know why he even muttered it; he acts like I can't hear everything.

Easton is a very cold-hearted person. He loved Nick but he has no patience for Nick. He has a little bit more patience for me since I don't act like a child 24/7 but I still have never been able to confide in Easton the way I do with Nick.
