"Come on, I want to take you somewhere." I reach out my hand for Seth to take it in hers.
"Where are we going?" Seth sets her book to the side and takes my hand as she uses it to stand up.
"You'll see." A soft smile is displayed on her face and TRUST. Seth trusts me and I love it. I love every part of it.
I am taking her to a large cliff that overlooks Saranac.
As the days go on, I crave to be around Seth and spend every last second with her.
Seth and I walk out to the car. I open the passenger side for her and then go over to the driver's side.
I get in and start driving.
It's become a part of our car routine for Seth to take my phone and plug in the aux cord. She could just use her phone but she says my playlist is better.
All my playlists have grown into her music taste. I had one playlist that I would listen to when I first met Seth now I have at least ten different playlists. I've grown to love every type of genre from Country to Rock.
The first song she puts on is Stranger by Jhene Aiko. It's one of her favorites now judging by the fact that it's the first song she plays when we get in the car and it's been that way for a couple of weeks now.
The drive to the waterfall is less than 30 minutes.
I chose somewhere that we wouldn't have to go into the city to get to. It's better that we avoid the city to avoid Dahlia having any idea where we are.
Seth and I walked up to the edge of the cliff, her face in awe at the view that it gives of Saranac.
"It's beautiful." Her eyes wander all around, soaking up all that the view has to offer.
She sits almost on the edge of the cliff. Her feet were inches and way from hanging off the edge.
I sat down right next to her. So close that we are practically glued together.
"This is amazing, thank you." Her soft voice was like a Beethoven song to my ears. Beautiful. One of a kind. Addicting.
"Of course." I reached up and laid a kiss on her temple.
We sat in silence for a few moments while we stared off, admiring the view.
"What do you want? When all of this is over what do you want?" I ask breaking out of silence.
I can tell Seth is thinking long and hard about her answer based on the look on her face.
I've noticed whenever she is in a deep thought her eyebrows scrunch together and her eyes go a darker shade of brown.
"I want to go to art school. I want to learn more about the history of art and how I can be better."
"I want to live back in the city house with you and be right across the street from Easton, Leila, and the baby." She continued.
"I want to be able to go over and see the baby every morning and have cups of coffee with Leila."
"Maybe even make more of an effort to take up more responsibilities at the bar with Easton or maybe even Sophie's coffee shop." Makes sense she is at Sohpie's shop every day even when she has to sneak in the back to avoid being seen, Seth makes an effort to get to Sophie's.
She was silent for a few moments but then her face had a spark.
"Oh, and I want to get married." My eyes shot over to hers.
