"Easton we are going to the cemetery so I can work on the spell, we'll be fine." My tone had to be communicating my frustration because I have been sitting her for almost an hour trying to convince Easton to let Grey and I go to the cemetery in the city.

Easton has his arms crossed like always with an 'you'll be grounded if you don't make it home alive' look.

It's also known as 'the dad look' to humans.

"Seth, I will not put up with your bullshit. To the cemetery and back. No where else." He looks at both me and Grey.

"Ya know, you are going to make a great dad." Grey says and Eastons face lightens up a bit.

"Thanks man I appreciate that." Then his face goes all hard again as he looks back at me.

"But I mean it Seth." Since when is he all nice with Grey? You're telling me that can change but his asshole dad attitude still stands with me? Thats bullshit.

"Cemetery and back. No bullshit." I grab my backpack and keys.

"Good stay safe."

With that, Grey opens the door for me and we walk out.

I was planning on driving into town but plans suddenly change when Grey opens the passenger door for me.

I don't argue or protest because that just means I get to control the music and I am perfectly happy with that.

The drive to the city is nice. The view of Saranac is beautiful.

Large trees that are starting to turn green again. Leaves from the last fall still lingers on the ground.

We decided to park in the parking lot of my favorite coffee shop so we can just walk to the cemetery after getting coffee.

"Seth!" Sophie says as soon as she sees Grey and I walk in.

"And Grey of course! My two favorite love birds. The usual?"

The little nickname she gave us makes me cringe a little but I like how she makes it seem like Grey and I are a package deal.

"Hey Soph. And yes please." Her fingers start clicking away on the screen.

"Next time we come here, we won't have to drive. We can just walk since we'll be back at my house." I say while wrapping my arms around Greys torso.

I look up at him and see his gaze already burning into me.

"I can't wait." He says before cupping my face and placing a kiss on my forehead.

Sophie brings our coffees over and sets them on the counter.

"One small latte with oat milk and one small black coffee." She gives me a smile.

"Thanks Soph. I'll come by next week and we can catch up I promise." I slip a $20 bill into the tip jar as I grab our coffees.

I hand Grey his and start to take a sip before he gently pushes the cup away from my mouth.

"Love you're going to burn yourself. Give it a second." His soft suggestion fills me with butterflies.

"Thank you, I would have burnt my toungue off again."

"Remeber last time you got so mad at yourself that you said you were switching to iced coffee?" Greys says as we walk hand in hand down the block to the library.

I've been wanting to check out some new releases I've heard of that are supposed to be really good.

"Yeah I was being very dramatic." Grey lets out a quiet laugh as we walk into the library.
