Seth
I woke up and felt like someone had sucker-punched me in the face. I slowly open my eyes to a very dark room.
I realize, my wrists and ankles are shackled in chains that have vervain on them because my skin feels like it's burning off.
"Good morning sunshine." A woman's voice was coming from right in front of me. I look up from my wrists and turn my attention towards the women.
"Who are you and what do you want?" I asked, my voice so weak. It hurt to talk.
"Doesn't matter. What matters is the information I need. So you will either tell me or you won't like the outcome." This bitch.
"Where is your house, Seth?" I stayed quiet. Whoever this woman was she wanted information so she could hurt my brother and me.
"Fine." She grabbed a wooden stick and stabbed my left thigh with it causing me to scream out in pain.
"You want to try that again?" The woman spat in my face as she talked.
"Fuck you." She took the wooden stick out of my left thigh and transferred it to my right thigh causing me to scream again.
"One more try Seth or you won't like the outcome." I already don't like the outcome. She won't like the outcome once I'm out of these chains.
"Do whatever you want to me. You won't get the results you want, I can promise you that." Her eyes grew with fury as the words came out.
"If you say so." The strange woman said before pushing the wooden stick deeper inside my leg causing me to scream even more.
"I'll be back in a couple of hours to see if you've changed your mind." She drops the wooden stick before turning around and slowly making her way towards the exit.
The lady left me alone, in the dark room all by myself in a whole lot of pain.
Grey
"Go in there and watch her. I don't want to underestimate her and then let her get away."
I nodded my head and walked into the room. Seth's drained body lay on the floor. Her skin has dulled and her body looks weak.
I grabbed a chair and sat in the corner of the room in the dark so Seth couldn't see me. If she is unconscious, I can watch her from a far.
"Come into the light." Her weak voice said, kill my idea of her being unconscious.
I did as she said and pulled my chair out of the dark. I placed it a couple of feet away from where she was chained up.
I instantly noticed her bold facial features. Along with her glowy brown eyes, wavy dark hair that flows in front of her face, and her olive tan skin that anyone would be jealous of.
"Talk to me about something, keep my mind off of this." Her voice is weak but it is still just as soft as before.
I am surprised she wants to talk to me since I am the one who put her here in the first place.
"What do you like to do for fun?" I ask her.
She glares up at me, almost surprised that I asked her a genuine question. "I love to paint, draw, anything artistic."
"What about you?" She asked me. Her eyes meet mine directly and nervousness starts to creep inside of me.
"I don't do anything fun, all I do is work." I chuckled before breaking eye contact with her and looking down.
