Seth
I woke up early from my non-existent slumber before the sun was even up. That's how you know I'm paranoid.
I decided to kill time by starting a new painting.
When I said I was going to kill time, I meant it. By the time I was done with the painting, it was already 10:00 in the morning.
I put my painting materials back and headed straight for the shower.
When I got out of the shower, I put on my outfit for the day: black jeans, a maroon sweater to go with the cool weather, and my black boots.
I put my hair in a high ponytail and left two strands out of it. I did the same makeup that I do every day and grabbed my bag to go downstairs.
When I got downstairs, Easton was in the kitchen cooking.
Before you question anything...vampires don't eat but Easton is always cooking to try new things out for the bar.
"I'm going to get coffee, I'll be back later." I walked into the kitchen for a brief second to see what Easton was making. Some type of pancakes.
Before I walked out the door, I realized someone was missing. I didn't see Nick this morning with his whole "I've changed" attitude.
I will admit, Nick has cut back on the drinking and partying by a lot but I truly don't believe that his whole personality has changed and I don't expect it to.
"Easton?" I peek my head back into the kitchen.
"Hm?" He responded flipping another pancake.
"Where's Nick?" I questioned.
"I'm pretty sure he is sleeping in his room." I walked into Nicks's room just to double-check.
When I opened the door Nick's naked body along with a naked girl was lying in his bed.
"Oh my fucking god." I quickly covered my eyes and shut the door quickly. I could hear Easton laughing from in the kitchen.
"You knew he was naked in his bed with a chick didn't you?" I glared at him, now in the kitchen again.
"Of course, I knew," Easton said pointing to his ears. Referring to his vamp hearing. Ew, he listened to them banging all night?
"Gross and you're an asshole for not warning me." I heard Easton start laughing again as I walked out the front door and started heading to the coffee shop.
It was a beautiful day here in Saranac. The weather was so nice. It was cool but not too cool, it was just perfect.
When I got to the coffee shop, I sat at my usual spot and waited for Sophie to come over to speak to me.
"Hey, I missed you yesterday, and the day before where have you been?" Sophie said while she made my usual.
"I've been extremely busy working and helping Easton with the bar." I lied. I couldn't tell Sophie the truth. She needs to stay as far away from vampire stuff as possible.
Anyone who gets involved gets hurt or worse and I don't want that for Sophie.
"What a good sister you are." She said handing me my coffee.
"Thanks, Soph." I took a sip of the coffee before pulling out my drawing book to start working on a drawing.
After my first coffee and drawing were finished, I called Sophie over to get a to-go coffee.
While I was waiting, I looked over to see Christian Grey standing there staring at me.
"Sophie I got to go. There is a family emergency at home, save the coffee okay?"
