"Time to wake up beautiful we are here." Grey's hand was rubbing my thigh gently and my eyes slowly lifted.
We were driving along a long driveway that was surrounded by trees.
As we approached the house, I could see it was surrounded by a lot of trees and had a lake view in the back. The house is smaller than our house back in the city but this house was still big.
It is a large cabin that has a porch wrapped around the first floor. The second floor of the house has one single balcony in the front which I'm assuming is part of a room.
"Is that Leila?" I said rubbing the side of my head while sitting up to get a better view. I am still half asleep so my voice came out raspy.
With clear vision, I could see that it was in fact Leila and Easton unloading boxes from the back of the Jeep.
Once the car came to a stop, I unbuckled and jumped out of the car.
"Lei? What are you doing here?" Before she could answer, Easton was outside to grab another box.
"You thought I was going to leave her in the city without any protection? Dahlia has seen her out with you I'm sure and I'm not risking it." Easton grabbed another box and headed for the entrance to the house.
"Welp we are going to be roommates for the next couple of weeks just like we've always wanted." Leila shrugged her shoulders at me.
I started jumping down at the thought of rooming with my best friend. I ran and grabbed Leila into the biggest hug.
"This is going to be more fun than I thought," I said through our hug.
"Where do you want this box?" Grey said holding one of the boxes that said "Seth" along the side of it. Leila and I released our hug so I could turn to Grey.
"Nowhere for right now, I want to see the rest of the house. Come with me?" I put my hand out in front of him and watched as he dropped the box and accepted my hand with a soft smile displayed on his face.
I walked through the front door immediately admiring the small living room to the right side of the house that included a fireplace.
To the left was a hallway that I'm assuming led to the kitchen. The stairs leading to the second floor were slightly left of the front door.
Grey and I walked upstairs and into each bedroom. I was inspecting each room while Grey was trying out each bed.
"This bed has the most unstable headboard so whoever sleeps here has to be extra careful when participating in their nightly shenanigans" Grey was pointing towards the headboard while I just stood there in silence with jaw almost on the fucking floor.
"What the fuck?" I was still staring at Grey shocked.
"What? It's just an observation." He got up from the bed once I started walking towards the door of the bedroom.
I was now laughing because if Grey wouldn't have said it, I probably would have. Somehow Grey and I always think the same thoughts which is nice because I know I will never be judged for what is going through my head.
We walked back down to the first floor and explored the kitchen until we made it to the big sliding glass window that led to the backyard.
We stepped outside and it was surrounded by trees but there was one singular dock that led to a huge lake.
I walked down the dock that revealed the large body of glistening water.
"This is beautiful." I managed to mumble out.
