Sighing a little bit while she manages the garden after being back, she was ignoring everything around her. Her hair in a high ponytail today while she walked off to the other part of the garden. Swallowing thickly, Katri continues her endeavor with everything.
"HELP!"
Katri heard Thomas scream out, Katri stands and sees him running away from Ben. Gasping quietly, she drops her things, rushing quickly to help him. "Hey! Help!Help!" Katri quickly tackles Ben off Thomas making sure to hold his arms to his sides while her legs wrap around his pinning them down.
"I'll kill you!" She heard Ben snap at Thomas making Katri's eyes widen, she felt Ben grip her arms tightly, but she didn't flinch. She felt the crescent marks from his nails digging in.
"Calm down, Ben."
"What the hell happened?" Frypan asked Thomas who shrugged quickly.
"He just attacked me!"
Ben shakes his head. "No! No!"
"Alby!"
Alby looks at her trying to keep him pinned as he nods. "Lift his shirt, lift it."
"No!"
When they lifted his shirt, they saw a dark purple, blue wound with veins crawling all over. Katri frowns keeping him pinned. "He's been stung."
"In the middle of the day?"
"Put him in the pit, I'm sorry." Katri ordered while Gally and two others grab him from Katri's hold as she stands up. Panting a little bit, she looks to Alby who looks at her. She frowns and turns around. "You know what we gotta do."
"You got it." Newt nods as they all walk off behind Ben who was screaming out apologies.
A little while later, Thomas was standing there by Katri, wondering what was going on. Alby was sitting beside her. "So, what happened to him?"
"It's called "the Changing"." Alby answered. "It's what happens when someone gets stung."
"Listen. We haven't been able to get a clear word out of Ben since it happened. He's not making any sense and it's only going to get worse." Katri spoke to him, it sounded cold. "The infection is spreading. He's dangerous." Katri looks at Thomas, a glare held, and Thomas shifted uncomfortably under it. "What did he say to you?"
