Finally escaping the Maze, now the group has to deal with even more of W.I.C.K.E.D's shit. Katri has to deal with more heartache while out of the Maze and continue trying to protect her friends but now - she's dealing with her feelings for Thomas that she barely remembers.
She doesn't trust this Janson guy, she doesn't trust much of everyone but - she does because maybe they could help them. Seems like the right idea, right?

Now falling into the Scorch and trying to escape everything going on, the group has to deal with a new enemy called the Cranks. Will she fall into the Cranks's venom and turn into one of them?
