It had been a couple of hours, Katri had hugged everyone possible and then Katri was eating some food in what seemed like forever. She had changed into a different outfit as well. A black tank top with an olive-green jacket, faded black jeans with her socks and boots, she put on some black fingerless gloves and her garter belt on her with two pistols and she packed some knives as well. Katri got to thinking that Minho should be here too...
She would've rather it be Minho that was saved... not her...
She didn't feel like sleeping so she's by the jeep with Frypan and Newt while Thomas was off doing something by himself, she knew he was going to go after Minho himself and they weren't going to let him go by himself. Letting out a small sigh, she continues packing for the trip. Her lose and messy braid falling over her shoulder
"How are you doing, Kat?" questioned Newt not looking at her while he continues packing.
"Yeah, you've been through a lot." Frypan added to the conversation. "I'm surprised you haven't gone crazy."
"I stayed in the Maze by myself for a whole month and I haven't gone crazy." Katri stated to them as she continued packing. "Besides, I'm fine." Katri was lying through her teeth and Newt knew but he knew not to push it. But he walks up and touches her shoulder making her look at him. "Newt..."
"I've known you forever at this point, Kat. You can't hide your feelings from me." Newt told her. "Besides, you were there when I attempted to take my own life in the Maze. Let me do the same for you."
Katri smiles and nods to him and touches his hand with hers, gently squeezing it. Happy that he was there.
"Don't forget about me, Kat." Frypan touches her other shoulder, and she looks at him with a smile still on her face. "You've helped me more than I can count. Just like Newt, let me do the same."
They heard shuffling in the distance and Katri and Newt look at one another and then they both turn to Frypan who nods. Sighing a little bit as she packs her knives
"Where do you think you're going then?"
She heard a pause and then Newt turned on the light showing him, Katri and Frypan standing there. A smirk was on Newt's face.
"Newt..."
"Don't be a twat about it." Newt stated with grabbing some things and then opening the door. "I'm already in, come on."
