Tejasswi's {POV}
"Breaking news another girl was reported missing  last night. Police are still looking for the kidnapper. They suspect Karan kundrra which works for opprobrious gang The Devils. But they still don't have a solid proof to prove them guilty for all kidnappings. Stay tuned to TODAY NEWS for further updates."

My attention diverted back to the coffee machine. After grabbing the coffee cup, I handed it to Vidhi who served it to an old lady sitting on very coner of cafe. Today there were few customers in the cafe.

Bored, I leaned on the counter with my head on my palm.
Vidhi - bored?
She said and I nodded.
Vidhi - don't worry we can close after they go.
She said patting me.

After changing out our uniform we closed the cafe and got out in the cold and chilly night. Vidhi and I walked in complete silence, only sound that could be heard that was of few cars pass by.
Vidhi - it's scary.
Teju - what?
Vidhi - you know. Walking at night, all alone, knowing there are kidnapping happening.
She said with fear.
Teju - don't worry. It's safe here. Nothing happened in this area.
I said to calm her.

She shook her head and continued walking. After a while we reached in front of Vidhi's apartment.
Vidhi - bye take care of yourself and if you feel someone is following you just run and don't look back and text me if you reach home safely.
Teju - okay madam.
I said and we both laughed. I bid her bye and started walking she stood there till my figure disappeared.

Ask i kept walking, I couldn't help but think about the darkness in my life. How my life would have been if my dad was here or if my mother wouldn't married someone else. I know that mom married someone else so that she can look after me .

"Wish I was one of the girl who got kidnapped"  I murmured. Soon I realised I was standing in front of my house or can say prison. I inhaled and moved inside .

On entering I saw my biggest nightmare sitting on sofa working on laptop~ my step dad. Whenever he is infront of me my heart feels like coming out of my chest. But I can't let him have fun of my fear so I always try to come out strong in front of him.

This time I ignored him and went to the kitchen to get myself some water. As I poured the water in the glass he came and stood beside me.
TD - get ready tomorrow. I have fixed your marriage with my business friend's son. We are going to meet them.
He ordered.
Teju- how could you just fix my marriage with anyone without asking me? And I don't even know that person I'm not going to marry a stranger like this. Most importantly I'm not going to follow your orders.
I said angrily.
TD - I'm not asking you. I'm telling you. Now get ready by tomorrow and I don't want any drama.
He said and walked off.

I ran towards my room and slammed the door and locked it. I slid down as a tear escaped. I didn't knew for how long I was crying. I stood up and sat on the bed. Suddenly an idea dropped in my mind. I quickly opened my phone and searched for 'The Devils'. Although this idea is crazy but it is my only hope. I drift off to sleep.

The next day, I got up lazily and I took a shower and got ready when I heard someone knock. I opened the door and saw yuvi standing.
Teju - do you want anything?
Yuvi - dad is calling you. He said it's something important.
Teju- he is my not my dad.
Yuvi - don't say like. He took care of us and love us .
Teju - take care of you and he only love you because you do whatever he says and your his DAUGHTER .
Yuvi - okay leave all this I don't want to have arguments with you now so pls Teju come with me.
Saying this she pulled me with her.
