But till the time she could reach there a man appeared there. Teju's eyes broadened with fear it was none other than Alex. He started her with a dangerous look. Teju gulped and stepped back in fear.

Alex: I think today is your day! Be ready to say goodbye to this useless world. I thought to kill you after your marriage but if this goes like this everyone will doubt us

Saying this he took the sharped knife which was with him and started moving towards her with a deadly dangerous smile.

As he takes a step she takes a step back. Teju looked around to escape and ran towards her room Alex too ran behind her. She wanted to run out of her room but it was locked and it will take time to open it.

So she hid behind the almirah. Teju kept her hands on her mouth to not to make sounds of sob. She was not visible to Alex as there was a curtain hung.

Alex laughed like a maniac

Alex: Babe just come out of your hiding bill. If you have to die one day from me then why this hide and seek? Come on I will not hurt you much.

Teju shut her eyes in fear as the tears brimmed out of her eyes. Suddenly she felt a sharp pain in her arm. And in the next moment, she felt being pulled severely. Due to sudden action, she couldn't balance and fell to her knees. Things were messed up in that room

Alex: Got you .

He came closer to her and he pointed the knife at the center of her neck. As it was sharp teju got hurt.

Alex: Poor you! Just because of your father, little you and your mom are being killed by me.

Teju's eyes were still closed and her tears were rolling down.

Alex laughed seeing her condition and stood up then his behavior changed to an irritated face.

Alex: I don't like these crying faces.

He said as he pulled her by her hair. Teju opened her eyes in pain and looked at Alex. He was saying abusive and hurtful words to her making teju feel hurt and feeling to stab his face.

Her fingers fisted and she gazed down quickly for a sec to look for something to defend. She finds a syringe there
[it was a medical purpose drug this drug make a person fall asleep for 6-7 hours but it's dangerous when it's injected in a high level it can cause a clot in the heart.

She took the syringe secretly. Alex didn't notice that he pulled her hair more gripping it tightly. Teju's tears flowed as it was painful but she didn't show her fearful face. She was having different emotions it was looking like someone swapped the teju who was present there some seconds ago. Teju was not in her senses.

Teju attacked him and injected the whole drug into his neck. Alex winced in pain. As his screams blessed her ears she realized what she had just done. The syringe fell from teju's hand and her whole body started to shake in fear and shock.

[Note: Others are not aware of what all happening here in this room as the room was soundproof and as it's the night everyone might be sleeping]

She hugged herself. Alex was screaming a mess which was making teju disturbed she closed her ears tightly and her tears rolled down. Gradually he stopped screaming and became unconscious.
The room was filled with her sobs she was feeling scared. She is regretting what she just did. She is disturbed by her own life. She feels like everything will slip out of her hands again she will be left out. She is regretting not sharing her past with anyone. Now everyone will leave her as no one will believe her.
In a nutshell, she is scared of losing her precious ones as they will start hating her and she will be left all alone.

After some time...

Teju got up wiped her tears and went to wash her face. She came out and looked at Alex's unconscious body.
She pulled him out of her room and somehow managed to make him lay on the bed.

She came out and went to her room and cleaned all the mess then after applying medicine to her injuries she hid her injuries with makeup.

After some hours...

Karan was passing by there to go to the kitchen when his eyes fall on Alex's door which was half opened...
