Teju: Earlier I used to live with my family in my home town Jalandhar. My dad was a well-known detective and my mom was a surgeon, Everything was perfect and pleasant until my dad got your cousin Alex's case. For investigation, he was sent to Mumbai and me and mom stayed at Jalandhar itself. As usual, my dad was successful in finding proof and his team's whereabouts.

Flashback

[Little bit details: teju was 18 and soon she will turn 19 in some days. (Alex is older)]

Teju and her mom were having a face time with her dad.

Teju's dad: Soon I will come to you both. The case is coming to an end after that I will return back

Teju: Dad, end the case soon so that I can celebrate my birthday with you three! *pouts*

Teju's dad: Sure my dear

A few days passed...teju's birthday will soon come in a few hours only but she was sad as her dad won't be with her to celebrate her birthday. Her mom tried her best to make teju cheerful.

It was 11:30 at night. Teju was sleeping and her mom was preparing to surprise her. She was preparing the cake when she received a video call from her husband (teju's dad)

Teju's dad: Hello

Teju's mom: Yes, am listening

Teju's dad: Is Tejasswi there?

Teju's mom: Ya she is sleeping and I am preparing her birthday cake

Teju's dad: oh *sighs*

Teju's mom: What happened you sound low .

Teju's dad: listen d-don't be tensed...but I got a threatening message about k-kidnapping of t-teju so be with her all time. And if you find something wrong or find any danger immediately call the police or me. I will send my people there...you listening

She (teju's mom) froze on her spot

Teju's dad: I know you are tensed but don't let teju know about this

Teju's mom: Please come soon. Am scared .

Teju's dad: I will come soon. By that time stay by her side all the time

Teju's mom nodded while tears brimmed through her eyes.

Teju's dad: Oh it's 11: 56 PM. Few mins for teju's birthday (to divert his wife's mind)

Teju's mom nodded and took the cake in one hand and the phone in the other hand.

She went to teju's room and opened the door without making any noise. She looked at the bed thinking teju must be sleeping but she was not there. She kept the cake above the table and knocked on the washroom but found it is open. She got tense, all negative thoughts came to make her feel scared. She quickly informed her husband (teju's dad) about her missing.

Teju's dad: I will find our daughter and will bring her safely...don't cry

Saying this he immediately cut the call and she fell to her knees, tears rolling down her cheeks, dying and hoping her daughter is safe wherever she is.

Teju's dad's eyes got tears seeing a video that he received in his mail

Video: teju was tied to a chair, and her mouth was taped. Her hair was all messy and her eyes were showing terror. One man was standing there his face wasn't visible as he was wearing a mask and he was holding a cake. He kept the cake on teju's lap. And forcefully made her cut that, he took some cream from the cake and applied it to her cheeks. Teju was trying her best to move away but he held her chin harshly making her whimper in pain. The man laughed like a maniac, from the background also laughing sounds of others probably his men can be heard.
