Karan took the jacket and got up to put the jacket on her. When Karan was putting on the jacket teju looked at him...karan too, as soon as karan looked at her she blushed and moved her gaze away...seeing this Sid giggled.

After making her wear his jacket Karan bent to meet her height then said while pinching the tip of her nose

Karan : I don't want my best friend to get cold.

Teju giggled...karan again sat beside her

There was a comfortable silence between them. Both were enjoying staring at the starry sky.

teju hold onto the jacket tight which just smelt like him, she took a deep breath inhaling his fragrance. A smile formed on her face and she turned to look at karan who was looking up at the sky.

Tejasswi's Pov

I felt so relieved and peaceful after so long. In the past whenever this day comes, I always feel lonely and weak but today, today it feels completely different. I don't feel lonely. I am very thankful that this family came into my life and loved me endlessly...I promise you, mom, I won't ever complain to you that I am feeling lonely here...and I will do everything to keep this family safe and happy.

Teju's Pov Ends

After some while teju's eyes started to get heavy and fell asleep there, Karan saw her sleeping.

He picked her up in bridal style and walked to her room

Karan made teju lay on the bed. He tried to take the jacket but she was holding it tight and snuggling onto it...Karan chuckled seeing her then he switch on the air conditioner and cover her with a duvet and sat beside her.

Karan: Have to say you look super cute when you are sleeping .*giggles*

She turned, laying straight

Karan: I promise you, teju..I will always try to keep that beautiful smile on your face every time.

Saying this he unknowingly kissed her forehead and saying/mumbling good night he left

Just after he entered his room he realized that moment...his cheek became red automatically and before he can even process this all he heard a knock on his door.

He opened the door to find prince standing there with a pillow kept on his head with one hand supporting it while another hand was busy scrolling his phone. Prince looked at him and entered in while pushing karan a little.

Prince: mera bhai I think you are scared to sleep alone na .

Karan : Who said you this!?

Prince: I know after all I am your bada bhai .

Karan: Say it directly bahi! You don't have a habit of sleeping alone.

Prince: Hehe woh neither yuvi is here nor Riya...so I came to sleep with you.

Karan sighed in defeat... prince jumped onto the bed while Karan closed the door and laid beside him.

Prince: karaann!?

Karan(annoyed): Yeah!?

Prince: woh toh I thought you slept.

Karan: I was but you are not letting me!

Prince: hehe sorry.

Karan: I am going to sleep! Now Don't disturb me . Good night .

Prince: Nooo

Karan: huh!

Prince: Yr I am not able to sleep!

Karan: So what can I do? Sing a lullaby for you!?

Prince: Yeah you can but I don't want to be deaf so no!

Karan rolled his eyes

Karan: I sing well!

Prince: Ok ok...leave that... let's talk!

Karan: At this late-night!? At what fucking topic!?...No need I want to sleep!

Prince: Your future plans...so what's your future plan?

Karan(half sleeping): I have already had a satisfying professional which gives me more than enough financial status...and you asking me now?

Prince: Arei no no I am not asking about this...I was asking about your future plans after your marriage!?

Karan's eyes opens wide and all the sleep spirit present in him flew away...he turned to prince.

Prince: I think you got the mood now.
