I slammed the remote on the table as nothing was entertaining. At first everything was right. I felt like a free bird, although the space was limited to this apartment, but I was fine.

But now I feel like I escaped from one prison to be kept in another. Karan would visit rarely and I was dying to go outside.

My eyes travelled towards the phone laying on table beside the remote. An idea popped in my mind but I quickly shook my head.

"He told me I can't talk to her for now." I muttered.

"but it's not like he would know." I argued with myself and picked the phone.

I dialed her number, after few seconds the one the other side picked up the call.

Vidhi - hello, who's this??

She said suspiciously.

Tejasswi - hellllloooo bestiiee!!!!

I shouted excitedly.

Vidhi - omg, tejasswi babe. Is this you?

She asked still not believing her ears.

Tejasswi - No it's not tejasswi I'm tejasswi ki Bhoot speaking 🗣️

Vidhi - are you alright? How are you doing? are you safe ?He haven't hurt you right? Did you ate anything? what are you doing? Where are you ? I thought you forgot me huff 😮‍💨🫣🫢🫡🫠

She bombarded her questions.

Tejasswi - jezz girl stop take a deep breath and yeah I'm fine and safe I'm at his apartment now, how can I forget you and he hasn't done anything to me.

Vidhi - you better tell me everything now ......

She was speaking but the call got disconnected.

I looked at the phone confusedly to see a black screen. I tried to turn it on but it didn't work. I spent next few minutes trying to make the phone work but failed.

Tejasswi Prakash {POV}

I huffed and sat on the couch, pouting. Few minutes passed when Karan dashed into apartment and pulled me in a standing position. I was about to complain about his hard grip on my wrist when he pulled me with him.

He moved down the hall and walked towards the exit.

Tejasswi - karan will you tell me what happened?

I asked him but he just ignored me. Once we were out he pushed me in the black car he came in and got on driver seat. He took few minutes to even his breath and with harsh glare directed towards me he started the car.

I was quiet for few minutes with lots of confusion growing in my mind, until I couldn't take it anymore.

Tejasswi- what happened Karan?

I asked only to get a glare.

Karan - Are you asking me that?

He scoffed

Karan - just one thing.

He gritted his teeth.

Karan - I asked you to do just one thing and that was not to call anyone, not even your friend. But still you didn't listen to me.

He was burning with anger.

Tejasswi - but I wa.......

I was about to say something but he cut me off .

Karan - listen tejasswi whatever the consequences are going to be, caused by your foolishness, you are going to be responsible and don't ask me to help you.

He spatted.

He stopped the car for a while and placed his head on steering wheel, trying to calm down himself. After few seconds of breathing deeply he look up and with a final glance at me, he started the car.

Tejasswi - how did you find out?

I muttered.

Karan - the phone I gave you, Umar has installed some kind of device in it which let him know who you were calling.

He said.

Tejasswi - hey but that's invasion in privacy !!.

I whined but quickly shut my mouth.

when I saw his glare 😐

Tejasswi - sorry, but I was really getting bored. It was like I escaped one prison and entered another. You also come rarely so there was no entertainment for me. So I have nothing but to call Vidhi.

I explained.

Karan - for now I'll be taking you to mansion. That's the most safest place. And with others there you won't get bored.

He said focusing on road.

An idea popped in my mind I thought to tease him a little

I saw his glare than I thought to quit my mouth shut I just looked outside the window the rest of the ride Towards the mansion was in silence 🤐
