The Demon's Little Sister

After being lectured during the entire lunch break by all the guys of the volleyball club- including Shibayama and Inuoka- you were sitting in your classroom again, waiting for your next teacher to come into the room.

That's when your phone vibrated in your pocket, causing you to take it out and check the message you had just received. You immediately smiled upon reading the text, eyes lighting up in delight.

<Lev: I filled the form out!>

<You: Awesome!>

<Lev: So... when and where should I give it to you?>

<You: What class are you in?>

<Lev: 1-5. Why?>

<You: Imma come get it from you real quick, before my teacher gets here.>

<Lev: Oki! I'll wait outside my classroom for you!>

<You: Oki, on my way!>

And with that, you quickly left your classroom. You saw Lev and skipped up to him, a smile painting your lips.

"Hey, Lev!"

He turned and smiled down at you. "Hey, Y/n! Here's the club application form thingy." He held the paper out to you.

You took it, not looking away from his face. "Thanks. I'll get this to the coaches right away so they can get ready for you today."

"Alright. Um...." The boy's cheeks tinted pink, embarassment evident in his body language. He rubbed the back of his neck, refusing to maintain eye contact with you.

You softened your expression in concern. "Is everything alright, Lev?"

His eyes briefly flicked over to meet yours before darting away, causing him to look at the wall. "I... I don't know where the club's gym is.... I was wondering if you could walk me there once all our classes are over...."

You giggled, a beautiful smile spreading across your face once again. "Of course I can take ya to the gym! Don't worry about it. I'm here for you as your manager now!"

Lev:

"How tall did you say this boy is?"

You look at coach Nekomata, proud to stand in front of him and the rest of the volleyball club (aside from Lev) to talk about the boy you recruited- all of which being done during a quick break. "6'4", sir!"

The old coach's eyes widened. "Two inches taller than Kuroo."

You nodded enthusiastically. "I think he has potential and can help strengthen the team's defense with his height and long limbs. He deserves a chance to learn, at the very least."

Everyone was stunned by your persistence in making this unknown tall first year boy a member of the team. You hadn't been so serious aboit anything- at least, not in front of them before. It had even come as a shock to your brother, seeing you so determined to have someone you just met become an important part of the volleyball club.

Coach Nekomata let out a hearty chuckle. "Well, if you have such high thoughts about this boy, I don't see why he can't be given a chance! Bring him in after school, let's see what he's capable of. But, if he's worse than we imagined... I expect you to help train him."

You gave a closed eye smile. "You got it, coach! I'll go let Lev know now."

"Lev?" The boys of the team looked at you in confusion.

"That's his first name. It means lion in Russian."

"Russian?!"

You nod, still smiling at the boys. "He's half Russian, half Japanese. But he definitely looks Russian. Anyways, imma go tell him the news. See ya at practice!"

Without making eye contact with any of the guys in the room, you turn while waving at them and skip out of the room. You immediately head over to Lev' s classroom, not even hesitating to enter it and walk over to the boy.

"Heya Lev!"

He jumped in his chair, quickly turning and spotting you- causing him to let out a sigh of relief once he saw it was only you approaching him. "What's up, Y/n?"

"I just talked to the coach... and the rest of the team. It's all good! I'll be bringing you to practice today so you can meet everyone and start learning to play!"

Lev smiled at you. "Cool. But... is it really ok?"

"I promise, it's fine! I'll be helping you, so you've got nothing to worry about!"

"Have you played volleyball before?"

You sat down in a chair beside him. "Never on a team. But my big brother taught me when we were younger. Oh, and my brother is the third year starting libero for the team, so you'll probably be working with him a lot. You two will get along, he's really sweet."

Lev smiled at your confidence. "Ok. I trust you, Y/n. Can't wait to meet him!"

Oh, you poor baby...

Y'all know what's gonna happen once Lev meets the others

But don't ya just love the immediate bond that you and Lev made?
