"I don't think I can go through with this! Is it a date?! What should I wear? Should I bring something?"

"Relax, shortcake. You're just overthinking this." Kuroo watched as you paced around, attempting to offer comfort and get you to finally calm down.

"But still!" You wailed. "I'll be at Lev's house with him! What if we're alone in his room?! I don't think I'm ready for this!"

The captain propped his arm up on the armrest of the couch, continuing to keep his gaze on you as he rests his chin on the palm of his now propped up arm. "His family will most likely be there. So calm down."

"There's nothing to worry about, Y/n." Your brother walked into the room, carrying a tray with some snacks and drinks for the three of you. He takes a seat beside Kuroo on the couch.

You stop your pacing and turn to face the two. "But-"

"No more of that, we've heard enough for a lifetime." Morisuke sighed, sinking further into the couch.

You groan, flopping down into a nearby chair. "Then, what do you two suggest I do?"

Kuroo shrugged, face slowly forming into his signature grin. "Just let your heart do all the thinking and acting for you."

Morisuke hit him on the head, earning a yelp as a result. "Think logically about this: you're only helping Lev out. He didn't ask you with any other intention than to receive your help on things he's struggling with. Just remain calm and everything will be fine."

You take in a deep breath, letting out a slow exhale. "Ok. I'll be calm. It'll be fine. What's the worst that can happen?"

"Exactly! Don't stress over such a little thing, shortcake! There's nothing to worry about!" Kuroo offered a reassuring smile.

"Hey, Y/n!" Lev showed a warm smile as he opened his front door, letting you enter his house.

You calmly walk inside, feeling slightly awkward internally. You give him a soft smile. "Hey, Lev. How are you today?"

"I'm doing much better now that you're here to help me! Thanks again for that. Oh, how are you?"

You became slightly flustered by his reply. "Um... I'm fine."

Lev smiled and turned his back to you. "Here, we can study in the living room."

"Ok." You followed the tall silver haired boy through the house, looking around at the décor. "Your house is amazing."

He chuckled, turning his head to glance at you. "Thanks. My parents and sister really like to keep it clean and have plenty of decorations. Gives it more of a homey vibe, or something like that."

You giggle quietly. "It does feel pretty homey in here."

"Yeah. Feel free to make yourself at home."

The two of you reach the living room, sitting down beside each other on the couch. A rectangular coffee table sat in front of you both. You and Lev both grab some notebooks and writing utensils out, you also brought your laptop out and placed it onto the table.

You look around briefly before turning to Lev in curiosity. "Where's your family?"

He turned to meet your gaze. "Oh, my parents had to go out of town for the week- well, more like out of the country and it might end up being longer than a week; it usually is. And my sister is gonna be at work till pretty late tonight. So it's just the two of us for the time being."

You tensed slightly, having already worried that something along these lines would end up happening - even though both your brother and Kuroo had assured you a scenario like this wasn't possible. "I see...."

"Why? Is everything alright?"

You chuckled, slightly nervous. "Yeah, of course! I just kinda wanted to meet your family, that's all."

Lev smiled. "Yeah, they would've loved to meet you- especially Alisa. But it'll just be us studying. Oh! And I can order us some food if you stay late enough for dinner!"

You nod. "I'm not sure if I'll need to stay that long, but that sounds like a plan."

The silver haired boy chuckled, beginning to scratch the back of his head. "I mean, according to the team I need more help than the time we'd have for the whole weekend."

You turn to the boy, a serious and concerned expression on your face. "That's not true, Lev. I believe you can be just as good as everyone else on the team. And I'll help you as much as you need to get you to that level. I promise."
